There has to be some deadline or some offer of payment if player accepts within a week.
-
I suppose if he was amazing inside and outside the box he'd be worth 40m upwards. For a striker I want good movement in the box, finishing skills and excellent header, way more important than what he's useless at.
-
Thought you were desperate to get a player in? You should be happy, why should you care how much is paid? It's not your money.
-
Won't be long as people are writing him off already, mainly due to the fact that they haven't heard of him and just looking at stats.
-
I'm thankful we have someone who can add to the goal tally. Monaco are no mugs, they obviously saw something in him and when he starts it seems he plays pretty well. Can't make it up on this forum though, some crying we're not signing anyone then crying when we do because "stats" don't look good enough, glad we have the experts to sort the team out.
-
Good new, it means a team that is struggling for goals has purchased a striker. Hopefully this will somehow help other signings come through as well.

As long as we manage to score one more than them I'll be happy.

Didn't Promes come out a few days ago when this blew up saying calling black people chocolate isn't racist?

I think we'll beat Brighton which will put them into the relegation zone and they will struggle to get out, I also think Stoke will beat Watford and Huddersfield will lose to Liverpool. West Brom are bound to lose away to City. A draw against West Brom will keep us 5 points ahead of them, Huddersfield will then lose to Man U and will fall further down the league. Swansea are playing Arse and Leicester and I think they'll get 1 point out of that. Newcastle games are too hard to predict as playing rubbish teams. IMO I think we'll be at least 3 points clear of relegation after the next two set of fixtures.
-
All the teams above us up to Huddersfield are lower odds than us to be relegated. That is surprising.
-
Yep, which makes it difficult sometimes if you are not a superclub to get a really decent player in. We need to be offering competitive wages and be setting deadlines, which I am sure we are.
-
You are aware he's joking?

A positive article. Like that.
-
No, losing would be the worse result possible. Hopefully this gives a confidence boost to the players and they go and beat Brighton.
-
Good performance, played well but need to get a win next time out. The ref is a bit of a spurs fan, dembele allowed to commit 10 fouls before being booked as well.
-
Playing well. Let's keep this tempo going. We're getting behind their defence, I'd bring on Redmond for Tadic.
-
Give it a rest and get behind the team, a result against spurs will give us loads confidence as well as moving out of the relegation places.

He's so bad it's verging on comedy.

I don't think Griffiths has a clue

For the last few years we've finished above mid table so people are bashing the club for paying mid table wages?

I don't think protests work/I'm not interested in them.

Some of our play has been decent at times but we have thrown away too many points when we've been leading, that's what we need to sort out, if Pelligrino can throw away his instant negative switch when winning we might be ok, but yes, obviously there are still concerns but unless there is a great manager out there who can come in and get us winning immediately then what options are there? -
10 million a year over 3 years is very doable. Get it done.

Wait until the end of the transfer window, if we bring no one in at all then the board have to go but as one of the few optimists around here we are still only a couple of wins from mid table, let's get some decent players in, start holding on to leads, stay in the league then get a new manager in in the summer. -
This will be the "cost" of employment which includes employers NI and pension, for every single person employed at Southampton FC. So your figures are going to be way off.
