  1. Loan him out for a season or two before dispensing with him would be better as he is still a young player, as long as Sociedad cover the wages it can't do us any harm.
  2. Actually De Vrij might not be someone to go after, just read this: Did you know? With a number of De Vrij’s compatriots currently plying their trade in England, the 23-year-old wouldn't be short of options if he wishes to join them for a bowl of bitterballen. Ronald Koeman, however, is one man the defender will presumably be in no rush to exchange pleasantries with. The pair dramatically fell out when the Southampton manager was in charge of Feyenoord in 2013. After De Vrij was found to have been participating in individual training sessions without the club’s permission, he was stripped of the captaincy and heavily reprimanded by his boss in private. As scandals go, additional training ranks below even the occasional inhalation of legal nitrous oxide by teenagers, but Koeman was adamant and the armband was handed to Graziano Pelle.
  3. Jaanmat would be a good addition at Right Back. See that Juve are after him though so might be a stretch to get him. Redmond could also be worth a punt from Norwich. Maybe a move for De Vrij from Lazio? Might cost a packet though.
  4. Great result, coupled with the Hammers blowing it away to Stoke. Always liked Stoke.. Thought we were pretty average till we got the first goal, then went to bits again when Puncheon scored his cracker of a goal. One we got the third I thought we might have maybe got five or six as Palace gave up it seemed to me, maybe started to self-preserve for the Cup final. Bertrand was great, if we can get a similar style player on the right we would improve massively. I think Martina is a limited full back but saying that he still gets his fair share of assists, which is why if we buy a better player for this position it would improve us a lot. Austin, if we can get him fit along with Jrod would be an asset, had some good movement off the ball but looked rusty on it. Fingers crossed the Bournemouth can do us a favour for a 5th placed finish.
  5. Would love to finish above the Hammers, the way the press been all over them this season.
  6. I'm in this boat, a lot of good managers around at the moment I'm sure we would be able to get in as a replacement. Would rather RK stayed though, save a lot of time fannying around looking for a new manager/backroom team.
  7. Jordan Pickford. Will be a future England squad regular. Might cost at least 5m though.
  8. ****ING AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. **** you Spurs. Great battling performance, wasn't pretty at all. That Ref tho...
  9. I'm only going on this. It may not be accurate! http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36075347
  10. Sunderland fan apparently..
  11. No loss, A-League is ****e! Would rather watch Saints smash City anytime.
  12. Hopefully the team give us one last Saints type hurrah, and beat Spurs before losing 0-1 to Palace on the final day to blow our Euro hopes
  13. IF Guardiola brings in an expensive striker from Bayern with him might be nice to get the lad in on loan, bit like Lukaku with Everton - convince him regular footie is more beneficial in the long term and sign him for 20m after a decent season with us. Can dream
  14. Get in & Goodnight!
  15. Man City haven't won a Premier League game they were losing at half-time since November 2012.
  16. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/redknapp-takes-central-coast-mariners-consultancy-job#:Oh0ATutcsguBjA He does know there are salary caps etc....?
  17. Embolo for Mane and Carvalho from Sporting for VM.
  18. Unai Emery
  19. I thought that was Jeremain Lens? Might have been wrong.
  20. Tons of players like VW playing in France...
  21. Be amusing if PSG took him, they can give him whatever he wants.
  22. Barca have a knack of employing ex-players, even straight out the backroom. RK will apply I'm sure, and what else to keep the fans happy than to appoint a club legend? Funny that Barca were unstoppable a few months back, now three defeats on the bounce and their season is in jeopardy - maybe missing out on the league now as well as the CL!
