I agree he didn't look too great today when he came on. Good performance but again Saints never let us get comfortable. Reina played well and still has that presence in goal. Smallbone looked composed although not too much hard work in midfield for him, some nice little touches in there. Villa looked awful, we did well to keep Grelish quiet. Both goals were more about the final pass than the finish. Would love us to beat the Hammers next week if we didn't pick up another point all season. We are safe and don't have the consistency to push top 8.

Typical Saints home game, first goal was a joke but then again should have been retaken as the ball was clearly outside the corner lines when placed. Still no excuse for what Ings did. We had a chance to get involved in Euro places but believe that has been extinguished now. Good to see as well we have another RB who lives to commit and dive in on that 2nd goal.

9 day gap between games, had more time to fret about our situation between games on International Weeks For me nothing to worry about this season unless this current funk we are on lasts another 4/5 games. Next season, same **** transfer window and same sort of season again next yet. Get used to it.
