Davis Murty - Thomas - Perry - Mills James - Gillett - ?????? - ?????? Rasiak - Saga/Lallana I'd say we really only have those 10 players who are up to first team standards in League 1 at the mo. Much more quality and depth required IMO.

So have most rapists, but I wouldn't play them up front in League 1. I think Paterson has a potential, but he barely made it onto the bench for most of last season. He was, in essence, not good enough to be back-up to a team, which wasn't good enough for the CCC. I'd hesistate to say he'd be ready for League one based on the little we've seen thus far. I'd agree on the 4 strikers principle, but he wouldn't be one of them. For me I'd be Rasiak, Saga, Lallana (reliant on whether any of those 3 want to be here), plus one more. Preferably someone with pace, but who also knows the offside rule and has shoulders.

F*ck no. Musical instruments at football matches just sound awful. Even the England supporters band, who you'd think would be sh*t-hot, just sound like a boy Scout band at the school summer barbeque. Kelvin clearly contemplated moving to West Ham and the deal must have been more than likely at one point for him to be training there ahead of us. However he changed his mind and decided he wanted to be at Saints. I don't have a problem that, but clearly people do have a problem with Saga doing something very similar.

They were both on international duty. I'm not slating Kelvin here. I think it's brilliant he's staying, but don't kid yourself into thinking he never considered leaving. If he was always 100% commited to staying at Saints, he'd have been training with Saints. People have double standards. Kelvin training at West Ham, no problem. Saga "considering" a move to Poland and it's time to break out the torches and pitchforks. If Saga WANTS to be here, then I'd be delighted to have him on board next season. If he wants to pursue his career then I wish him all the best. Much the same as DMG, Surman, Wotte or even Theo or Bale.

Kelvin. My point is that I'm sure every player in the squad has considered leaving. Saga stated he wanted out because he has international ambitions. I don't blame him for wanting to leave, ditto Surman and DMG. My point is that if, in light of the take-over and depending on the new manager, he decides to stay, like Kelvin, that's fair enough IMO. As long as he wants to be here and is commited to the cause, I don't care what he said last year when we were relegated, minus 10, in administration and with a muppet managing us.

Ok. What I meant was it's not actually her cash to begin with. She hasn't hit the jackpot on Deal or no Deal and donated the whole lot to Saints. She can't really donate money that isn't hers, she just chose which club it went to. We're basically saying the same thing but with different words.

He didn't refuse to play. Why would he, it makes no sense. He stated he wanted out and was left ouf the squad for the Forest game accordingly. Partly to save the club money on appearance fees no doubt as we'd already been relegated. We did the same with Skacel and it was probably a sensible decision. People who claim Saga was only good when playing for a contract also have very selective memories. What about the season before last when he worked his a*se off and helped Stern John get all those goals. Or the fact that we never lost a game when Pearson picked him in the starting line-up. Or last season when he played regularly in the Champs League, then came back here and scored something like 6 in 7 games and got a couple for the Polish NT a couple of weeks later. I don't get people claiming he's crap when he blatently isn't. He hasn't played well recently, so most people's solution is to get rid and replace him with Paterson, rather than try and get the best out of him again.

Really hope he decides to stay like Kelvin. With a decent manager and some creativity around him, he could tear most L1 defences in half.

I'd play James at RM. Him and Gillett wouldn't have enough weight for L1 IMO. Get Pele back.

I'd just like to correct this myth using statistics if I may. An average striker would score, for arguments sake, 10 goals a season in any given league. In a league like the CCC you will play against 23 teams in a season. So if a striker scored 10 goals against 23 teams, there is around a 45% chance a striker will score against a particular club in a given season. So IF BWP were to go to Plymouth and they and Saints played each other in the CCC (yes I know) for 2 seasons, there is a 90% chance he would score against us at least once. Put simply, it's not one player biting us in the a*se. It's people having selective memories and ignoring the 50 odd other players who will score against us in any given season.

After what happened with Skacel, perhaps a high profile signing isn't wise. We'd only get muppets on here moaning that they are over rated, over paid, we should never have signed them and stayed with Paul Wotton instead.

That's weird. When I first saw her I was convinced she was a 40 year old lady-boy wearing enough make up to make him/her resistant to moderate radiation and most small arms fire. It's a yes from me.
