  1. Against Charlton. Yep. Lets hope our win tommorow wont be the last.
  2. 1. Don't think so. OS doesn't mention it. Just an exclusive with Euell and an interview with Fry, amongst other things. 2. Don't see why not. 3. If it's generating proffit, I don't see why we wouldn't pay them, so I'm guessing not. 4. No reason to, as long as we still put logos on shirts and pay for our kit. 5. We can but hope!
  3. Thread on that yesterday. 99% of people went with the Lowe option obviously.
  4. Ditto. Wish I could get there, but just couldn't find a flight down between finishing work and midday tomorrow. Have to say I have never seen the whole fanbase so united like this. Bumper crowds expected for the remaining games, celebs are lending their support and even the regular irritants on this forum seem to be getting along.
  5. Lucy offers her support. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4265430.Top_model_gives_Saints_her_support/ Let's be honnest, she is an expert when it comes to 'support'. I now have 3 reasons to like her Nice to see she has kept abreast of the situation It's a breast of fresh air Saints have had their knockers this season Not the first tits to be seen at SMS this season how many more boob jokes are there...
  6. Craig David doesn't rule out being involved in a take-over: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2359545.ece?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football Lucy Pinder wants to forget the board, support the team and bring back Matty: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4265430.Top_model_gives_Saints_her_support/ That's our girl!!
  7. ITN news reader James Mates is also a fan. Haven't seen him mentioned.
  8. They could at least sell the shirts after the games. I bet they'd get a lot more for them than they cost to print.
  9. Would be good to have him on board. Pinder could 'front' the consortium, even though I doubt she has the cash to offer any financial help.
  10. He just rips off a load of Rupert Lowe songs. "I took over on Monday Sold all the players on Tuesday Bottom of the league by Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday Went broke on Sunday"
  11. TBH, if the club was liquidated, I really couldn't give a sh*t whether we are relegated or not. It would be completely irrelevant.
  12. Ttiwwp
  13. Why? Southampton are all over the media and there's talk of a full house on Saturday. Flybe wouldn't have paid all the sponsorship money up front. If we go under they will just stop paying us and walk away.
  14. The original deal runs out at the end of this season http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/search/?mode=movenav&page_id=6815 It was extended until June 2010 earlier this year http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11064
  15. Well "The Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium" was refered to as "St Mary's" by almost every media organistation out there, hence Flybe didn't take it up when they became our primary sponsor. It would have to be, "The Flybe Stadium" or nothing.
  16. Don't like it either. Just a reference to AFC Wimbledon.
  17. That is EXCELLENT!
  18. Pompey fans really are the least of my interest at the moment. And they're not exactly interesting at the best of times.
  19. Aren't Northampton a town? They've got a university. I like the name Southampton United, as we would indeed be united. However most 'United' fans (MUFC, NUFC, WHUFC etc.) seem to be W anchors. I also like the idea of a Phoenix for a nickname, but the plural doesn't really roll of the tongue. Maybe it could be on our club badge.
  20. Would be interesting to see if any players refused to play if their wages were stopped.
  21. Actually that is as ridiculous as it sounds. Whilst were on the subject, I think we should get a consortium made up from Craig David, Will Champion, Mick Channon and any other famous, rich Saints fans out there.

  23. Be interesting to see if Button can win this one driving a canoe. Seriously though, the race is being held in the evening local time and heavy rain is pretty much guaranteed. F**kin' Bernie changing the race time to try and get more European viewers, I can honnestly see it being rained off.
  24. I knew that was coming, but I still lol'd. I wish we still had that 10 page thread from S4E. That was perhaps the funniest thing I have ever read on here.
