Take a photocopy of the proof of postage then send it to them. They will then be able to take it up with ebay. To be honest, if you have sold it as 'first class' post, then thats all you have to send it as. The fact it is not recorded is not your fault (unless you stated it was to be sent recorded). They will be able to take it up with Royal Mail, as essentially, they are at fault. Explain to the buyer that you have sent it, that you have proof of postage too and that you will happily send this to them so they can take the issue up with RM. Otherwise people could just say they havent received the goods to get a refund and the goods. Hope that helps

hmmm, probably yes. Unless you have proof of postage, it can be argued you didnt post it. I always go to the post office to get a receipt to show I have posted it. This way you have a come back. But in the event of you not having proof of postage, I would just issue a refund. Unless your feedback is very high, then you will get a negative feedback from this person which could potentially affect your feedback rating.

I would tend to agree with you on this one, or atleast keeping it to the Financial Times. This way the newspapers that the majority of people read will not cover any financial news. It just depresses me reading stuff in the news now.
