  1. So why are players getting work permits. I always thought to 'employ' someone outside the EU is the last resort when you can't find anyone within the EU.
  2. We all get very excited about Netball and Curling.
  3. Feck 'em. Surely UEFA will do something soon? We all know how much they hate the power of the English game. I support the six home grown rule they are trying to bring in, it would be awesome, and hence, it's the teams like Chelsea who are moaning.
  4. Wigan maybe, they had a fair bit of money put into the club. Hull is a suprise, yeah, but they've had money to spend over the years.
  5. It just think it's about time we start going the same way as Rugby League and put a salary cap on wages, this would stop all the stupid money and make the league better, I mean, remember when teams like Swansea in the 80's who went from the bottom league to the top league within four years, and even managed to finish 6th, that dosen't happen anymore. It was the same with the player transfers, players normally started in the lower leagues and came up through, now we just go to Spain or France to find talent, it's not right. If the top four ever did join a Euro 'Super' league then I would wave them goodbye, they will not be welcome back and if they did want to join the football league again, they would have to start at the bottom.
  6. Strange.
  7. I have echo what you said. I hated auto's, but a few months back I had to drive a 5 series auto due to the driver getting a little too drunk, what a dream to drive, the ease, the only bad thing about them is that they can be a little 'joulty' when for passengers.
  8. To be fair mate, they are okay cars, it's lasted me for two years. Just be warned they are prone to the odd breakdown, I had the gear sync go which cost me a fair bit.
  9. £3500ono.
  10. ********, wanted to flog a 2004 Punto Active Sport to someone...
  11. Steve, we getting anything like trackie tops for training?
  12. We will walk this league.
  13. Just spoken to a City supporting mate of mine, he is creaming himself at the moment with all the possible transfers and to think I remember laughing at him when they played Macclesfield 10 years back. He also added, he dosen't want Ronaldo....which made me chuckle. I hope they break into the top four really.
  14. In 1995 I once bought a Southampton home shirt there, when Pompey were staying up on goal difference in the old money Div1. Last month I went there wearing a Southampton tracktop and got called a 'scummer'

  16. Fareham, once a great Southampton stronghold
  17. Likewise for me, been to Ibrox a couple of times, awesome ground, Scottish football is just mental anyway, I watched Rangers vs Hibs and all the riot police were about (maybe because Hibs are the 'catholic' team of Edinburgh). I also saw Alloa vs Ayr this season, and they didn't like each other much!
  18. It's a tough track though, it's bloody bumpy and you saw in the 250's with bikes going wide and Rossi getting out of his seat. Also, it was so much better when it was the other way round, strange that they changed it. As for Stoner, I remember him in Super teens years back and he had a similar time there, he had a problem with tumbling off when in decent positions. We'll see though, I hope he gets back on it.
  19. Pompey won't get 5th place, the problem they've got is they are still struggling to find the right system to play both Crouch and Defoe. Last season they attacked from midfield, leaving one upfront, where as now they are trying to play all sorts of formations. They'll be in the top 10, I'll give them that, but I think they'll end up behind Villa, City, Yids (once they get buying) Newcastle, Boro' and Sunderland...
  20. Sorry guys that I only played for 45mins, the foot went nicely.....I think it's going to be a trip to the docs now, two weeks the bastard has been playing up.
  21. Be warned, I went for £40 tickets for the Germany friendly last year and ended up at the back of the top tier, at it's highest point, how the hell that's a £40 ticket, when I've paid £30 and sat in decent seats, thank god with Englandfans I get £5 off tickets
  22. Friday-BBQ with a few mates from the motorbike racing world. Sat-Lil sisters 18th b'day, she's having a party so decided to work the 'door' with a few lads Sun-Southampton 'g33k' IFC game.
  23. Just started post on this, doh! All the best Mick, hope you get better fella.
  24. In serious condition following car crash, on SSN now.
