  3. Don’t get me wrong, when he played for us 2/3 years ago, whenever it was, I did think he was poor. Pre season though he has been as good if not better than the likes of Theo, Djenepo and Redmond. I know that’s not saying much but I don’t think he will be worse than those
  4. Warwick Davis would have been handy for his corners against Everton
  5. Sounds like what we need from a defender, captain qualities
  6. Agree on 1st 50/50 as one of them should have taken control of the situation, must have been no communication. 2nd we didn’t react to quick free kick and ward prowse was ball watching instead of tracking the run, when he did react it was too late. 3rd Awful frol Stephens, DCL was in his eye line but he jogged back and had absolutely no interest in getting to the cross first. Absolutely no desire or passion and tbh was the goal that pissed me off the most
  7. Yep, but Djenepo, Redmond or Walcott will be in front in managers eyes.
  8. One up at half time with Theo and Djenepo being shite. Winning or not l, the manager has to change it and bring off players who are not performing, it was appalling from the manager. Not pro active at all and you can’t be like that in Prem league awful
  9. Romeu quiet ??? Spent 3/4 of the game covering ward prowse treading water. Yes great block ward prowse but other than that the game passed him by and it was lucky we had Romeu.
  10. Useless cunt of a manager
  11. I’m sure he had such a forward plan considering all those injury problems
  12. Nonsense
  13. Exactly that and I’m not arguing, it’s just unbelievable
  14. Can’t believe people turning their noses up at Dier. A 27 year old with over 200 games for a top premier league side and 40 plus international caps. WTF
  15. It would make a change for us to have a defender that wins headers and wins tackles, rather than the soft shite we have had to put up with. I haven’t seen enough live performances from Phillips to comment on what he is, but if he is a tough defender who can win aerial battles, then I personally wouldn’t be overly disappointed.
  16. Or course he has never been a fan
  17. You could go on forever Clean sheets against Bournemouth, Shrewsbury, Sheff Utd and then the other games Arsenal, Wolves, Liverpool - 1 shot on target in each of those 3. Has he had to contend with a team down to 10 that has given up and capitulated. Ultimately they are both not the best keepers but I for one shit myself less when McCarthy is in goal than I do when Forster is in goal flapping around and falling like a tree.
  18. 👍 As we had luckily enough in the first few seasons Fraser played in
  19. Oh here he is... Is Forster not a bad goalkeeper then. Does having a massively better defence mean less goals against When those superb centre backs were gone did Forster’s inadequacy appear almost immediately and the games reduced
  20. What defence did Forster have in front of him ? Fonte and Toby for a season Fonte and Virgil for a couple Along with a good Ryan B
  21. Bloody hope not
  22. V Bad from the keeper
  23. So that’s a yes to throwing Forster in the mix
  24. How many did we score from them before we had a 6ft 6 player ?
