Ed Rooney

Moi been an absolute shit show today and yet he stays on. A goal down and bring off a striker Masterstroke

I wonder if when we go a goal down they all think fuck it ignore what Ralph has said and let’s play positive football rather than the negative shit he wants us to play

Fancy playing a shit team and formation at the start and then changing things to what the average Joe wants and getting back into it and then taking credit for it Genius

Let’s hope so

Love the banter on here

This is the big problem, the service to the strikers is shocking. We have no player willing to take a pass of any risk between lines or in gaps. Some of the runs AA and others make are good runs but the pass goes safe 5-10 yards sideways and then usually ends up back to the keeper.

Oh god, let me be clearer, in possession at times Romeu has been receiving at left back, small and edwards are effectively playing as a front 4, 2 midfielders start deep, both or at least one of the strikers have come short, quite often, leaving small and edwards as our highest positioned players and we then just end up playing a long ball over their heads out of play…. this has happened too many times for it not to be part of the shape he wants to play. Diallo, Romeu,Adams, and the favourites smallbone and tella on the pitch in the possession spine, so I would expect some effectiveness

Yeah like I say I’m not reading into individual performances, it’s more the shape

Not reading too much into individual performances, but if this is the shape we plan to play…. Fuck me it’s gonna be a long season

Which established and experienced player would you want and do you think Saints could realistically buy ?

I’m lost is our next signing a women, haven’t we enough of them in the squad anyway

Not the way we play, it leaves 2 central in midfield out of possession and time and time again leaves it far too easy for the opposition to get behind them and at our centre backs

Whoever we sign or play as a GK hopefully we can do them a favour and sort out the main problems which is the shit in front of him and the midfield being over run game after game

About as accurate as the other saints players

Yep best keeper in the world

God this is shit

Has to go

For about the 50th time this season

First goal brilliant by Bednarek and Forster second brilliant by Bednarek Same formation, same weak links playing. Expecting different results - Madness

Must be such a confidence booster for Armstrong that he can’t get on even when the two up top are as shit as this today

Agree

Very much this

KWP sooooo good

At least Smallbone has been busy
