It was mainly about rangers. When they did go onto pompey it was to say that they were in a very different situation as the expert could see things like a fans buyout working for rangers but not for pompey. Bit confused as he did say he expected the government to bring in legislation relating to the FCR but I thought the court case might decide that in their favour anyway.

About to be discussed on sky sports news radio http://www.skysports.com/radio
-
Hearing date for admin on friday.
-
Somewhat contradictory text isn't it? If their attendance is essential then if they don't attend it can't go ahead.
-
Is that the same "few days" as needed for the validation certificate?
-
I wonder who they will want to appoint as administrator...?
-
Under £530 million at least. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4889505.Balram_Chainrai_profile/

Elvs is about to leave the building.

Think there is a statement that they don't intend to. What is probably happening is that news corp are making sure they get rid of all the journo's who have done any bribing or hacking so they can then come out clean at the end. Probably a better approach than all the previous denials and cover ups.

Possibly missed yesterday but apparently chinny is in the UK http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/chainrai_returns_to_uk_to_sort_out_club_s_future_1_3507992 but has yet to talk to AA. Also AA said (day to day running of PFC, surely not!) that the Tuesday game will go ahead http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/business/local-business/ipswich_game_will_go_ahead_despite_bank_account_remaining_frozen_1_3507957 so all those pompey fans who know everything he says happens can rest easy.
-
Translation to me is "They have not moved the court date and they have not unfrozen the bank account". If HMRC had done either of these I am sure we would hear it from her. Sounds like HMRC have made no major concessions, hence the info free tweet.
-
So a typical Friday then? No administration No buyer No validation certificate No payment of wages No sign of Chainrai No news of HMRC meeting
-
One assumes the teleconference (assuming pompey managed to get HMRC to accept reverse charges) is well over but no news yet. One would guess that is probably not good for them as sure the MP would have not been slow in announcing her part of any delay?
-
Some papers have said they have, some are saying they are about to, but no official confirmation.
-
A quick question about the frozen accounts. Does anyone know if HMRC will have info on the contents of the accounts? I.e. have they gone into the meeting today knowing how much is in the accounts that are frozen?
-
Yes, yes, I know this one is about arry as well, look I am sorry okay. Anyway for those bemoaning the alleged £8m cost of the trial HMRC have come out and said it was actually a 300K cost for them, £1m for police and CPS and that the legal fee's are all part of a 'net buy' contract meaning the legal bods are paid anyway. http://www.accountancyage.com/aa/news/2145342/hmrc-spent-gbp300-redknapp
-
http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/spurs/news/spurs-impose-gbp5m-redknapp-fee_16086.html I wonder if arry gets 10% of that?
-
Is something of note actually going to happen on a Friday? Surely not? I think I agree with the suggestion that it will be admin for now but if no new owners appear once we get to the next Parachute payments then chinny will pocket those and liquidate.

I realise we have managed, with the help of ever tightening pompey death spiral, to move away from arry and his court case but this is an interesting read. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/feb/09/harry-redknapp-show-trial?newsfeed=true and this one: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/a-10m-home-a-business-empire--how-bad-with-money-can-he-be-6676533.html

No. Problem is chinny put so much money into the account to pay the wages that it's gone off the edge of the page on the statement and so appears to show zero.
