Just updated my ASUS transformer, looks good, and more importantly I can now use chrome which appears to work better with this forum than the honeycomb browser did.

The guardian article implies they are only deferring 25%, though I guess that could be interpreted several ways (25% per month or for all of it for 25% of the year?).
-
your welcome. Anyway you highlighted another interesting bit of the article so all is fine.

Not seen this one linked before about a possible fan buyout. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/23/portsmouth-fans-administrator-community-buyout in the context of how long they can continue this bit about how much is actually being deferred might be interesting if true...

If only there was a more rigorous 'Fit and Proper Fans Test' it would never have got to this point. I blame the FL, the FA, and every other abbreviation beginning with F.

Have asked a question along the lines of that he may not believe they are ready but the same could be said of just about every other club in admin and they use their youth players. Strangely did not get through. edit oh, it has but not reply.
-
As the league are good at making up rules on the fly someone should suggest one where teams in admin can get in emergency loans in but that there will be a 3 point deduction for each.

The BBC article says: any of our legal eagles have any idea how long that would take in terms of both preparing for going to court and getting a suitable date?

Sounds to me like there are three questions? 1) Was it worth £17 million when the debenture was initially applied? 2) Is it worth £17 million now? 3) Is there any problem with the debenture that might make it invalid? I think we can be fairly safe to say that the answer to 2 is no. For 1 the answer may well be no but its possible that at the time tesco might have been looking to add to their landbank but they have changes strategy since then. For 3 only someone with access to all the documents will be able to say.

I thought the last the last time the CVA was adjusted by AA he was in charge of the CVA so had the right to do so. Now BT run the CVA so I don't think it can be changed without their agreement? As the payment for the CVA is upcoming it will not be included in the preadmin debt so must be paid on time?

What gets me is there is that text in the article pointing out why the fault lies with the people selling the club and not the FAPPT and they still add comments such as: Firstly they obviously do not know the difference between the FA and the FL and secondly the only fault is to be taken in by the promises of someone that also fooled a lot of other people.

Wonder if we will see any legal challenge from Chainrai to the choice of administrator? Given the current admin appointed by the court what route would he have to take to get that decision overturned?
-
Good segment I thought. Keeping up the record that all our highlights must start with an exterior shot of St Mary's! Think the BBC are contractually limited on the number of games they can show extended highlights for so segments like that are all about turning the normal short highlights into a longer segment for the program. Pity really only covered for TV by the one camera as would have like to have seen Lee's goal from a different angle.
-
But a decision has yet to be announced. Another judge saying in open court that he disagrees with it can't hurt HMRC's case.
-
Not to mention that the reason why they have paid the football creditors is that they did not have a choice.
-
Not sure what was worse today: Chainrai/AA trying to sway the judge with the promise of extra money but only if AA appointed. or Chainrai/AA thinking that trying to sway the judge with the promise of extra money but only if AA appointed was a good idea.
-
I think its £4m of outstanding bills/wages then the other debts on top.
-
My guess is that as they are taking their medicine (i.e. a large points deduction) that the other teams will be happier for them to have additional advance on the parachute payments, just for them this time.
-
I think we know what awaits the new administrator when he starts work at FP..
-
He must have a very strong bladder.

Olly Birch @ollybirchpfc Judge says chainrai was given debenture but no evidence why
-
Think the term is "no sh*t sherlock" on that one.

So could be mr birch and the a.n.other?
