I think so as it shows HMRC being owed 9 million or so.

I like this bit: Fratton Park is essentially a landlocked facility. The owners of the land surrounding the stadium have a significant stake in the OldCo liquidation and purport to have an interest in certain of the Premier League Parachute Payments. We are taking legal advice on this and considering an appropriate strategy.

I suppose their actions have followed a certain logic if they know that they will be going pop at the end of the season no matter which division they end up in.
-
updated for reading win. Not, unfortunately that I had to change much.
-
Luckily for pompey Bristol City's next 2 games are against birmingham and west ham so we may have to wait a while before its officially confirmed.
-
If they are relegated before the end of the season I guess its possibly the club could be liquidated before the end of the season? They say they have the money to last the season but they must soon reach the point where it becomes apparent there will be no buyer and that the money would be best used to go to creditors?

All over: 0 - 1

Had you more down as this:

Looking at the fixtures I do wonder if Bristol City v West Ham on the 17th could both confirm their relegation and our promotion?
-
I would be quite confidence about this one if it was not for the fact it is on Sky given out recent performances in front of the camera's.
-
Think this thread counts as the 'in game' and 'post match reaction' thread for the hammers match so possibly not a fair comparison. Plus there tend to be multiple post saints match threads on difference aspects.
-
This one is quite good, but they do take a while to process results: http://www.dectech.org/football_sites/football_dectech/index.php

It is very hard to stop ones self enumerating ones Gallus gallus domesticus's over the goal difference. I think another set of games with it staying at the same level and I will feel more secure in its advantage. Strangely its good that both our and West Ham's games are home games.

updated for Saint's result. Also realised we can set a points for the championship target as winning all remaining games including against Reading would guarantee us top spot.
-
Got me there! I will change it for now to just points for promotion and hope the Reading result tomorrow means points for championship can be reintroduced!
-
Yes. Been away for a few days so only just updated.
-
Be fair pompey are apparently in talks with 3 parties, which just leaves one tyre than need kicking.
-
Sounds about right. There is no way the league could give Birch a statement that there would be no points deduction whatever happens. They probably said that there would be no immediate deductions but there might be depending on how the situation turned out but he decided to 'paraphrase' them.

I am more interested in what happens to this debt now. It has been said that it reverts to its pre CVA level but it is debt owed by oldco. I assume that it cannot then be transferred to newco? If they got to the point of the creditors voting on a new CVA would Baker Tilly be able to vote proportional to a) The initial pre CVA debt, b) The amount overdue at the time of the CVA proposal (i.e. just the april installment), c) the total amount due on the CVA or d) something else?
-
I think there is still some confusion about the CVA when AA was in charge of it when he could vary the dates as he wished and the agreement when the oldco went into liquidation that firmed up EXACTLY when and what money had to be paid from newco so BT could pay out on the CVA for the oldco.
-
Is this right? Large debt by oldco was converted into CVA. newco made commitment to pay money for CVA to BT who are managing the liquidation of oldco. If so what does happen if the old CVA ceases to exist? Can the reinflated debt be attached to newco? If not what happens to it?

Find his voice a bit annoying but he is okay. Problem with any pundit in football is that 95% of their job involves stating the bleeding obvious.
-
ditto one on order. All depends on how long it takes to be CE certification now apparently.
-
I though the CVA movable feast till 2015 was only in effect whilst AA was in charge and that once it got moved to BT the dates and payment amounts were fixed?
