Not to mention that if chainrai is in charge there will be a lot of fans who will probably refuse to go.

I believe their trust is currently doing due diligence at the moment so that they can put out a prospectus or whatever when they ask people to convert their 100 pound pledges into 1000 pounds shares. I do however agree that the timing may well be impossible.
-
I suppose my point is that they have to go from a position middle of this month where they have pledges but have not started issuing shares to having taken over pompey and be in a position to persuade the league they can complete their fixtures by the 2nd of June. From that I would guess they only have a week to 10 days to issue their share document to all who have pledged and get the money in for the purchased shares. Depends I suppose on whether Birch will want to see cold hard cash before signing over the club?

So if there was a "None of the above" and lots of people ticked it would anything change?
-
So lets assume (insert giant leap of faith here) that their trust do attempt to take over pompey... Can we try and work back from that to the minimum timeline that reaches that result? I would guess that to get past the league meeting on the 2nd of June that the deal has to be done and dusted by that date. Q1) How many days before then do they need to take over? One assumes it must be several days at least? Q2) How long would the negotiations take between approaching the administrator and taking over? Q3) One assumes to take over they do need to pay which means they have to convert the £100's into £1000's? How long would it take them to put out the relevant documentation and get in the required share money? Q4) Would there be overlap between this and the negotiations or would they need all the money before they approached the administrator? The News article implies they need to get the pledges in within the next 2 weeks but that must be cutting it very fine if they intend to present a reasonable case to the league on the 2nd.

At least here in Cambridge the tories are at no risk of losing any seats, on the grounds they don't have any at the moment.

Could be worse. Could be trying to shift an old Tal Ben-Haim

The key document in all this will be the one the trust has to put out with the share offer. It's one thing putting in £100 quid you can get back but when the deal is spelt out in black and white in terms of the risk of owning one or more shares I am sure many will think twice.

Its fine as A) most of them will have been sold by the time anything happens and B) they are not committed to buying shares anyway.

If pompey are liquidated the players join the queue of creditors getting pence. If pompey are taken over the players will get all their money via the parachute payments. Thus they are probably the only group where it could be considered an investment.

I think this example for a few weeks back shows we can get on with the national press quite well: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/9201250/Southampton-aiming-to-emulate-Barcelonas-homegrown-succes-as-they-near-Premier-League-return.html

Because most of these rivers run into the sea. In the south a lot of the water is drawn from underground aquifers. When it rains really hard the top soil becomes waterlogged so most water runs off into rivers and little makes it way down to where it is needed.

Actually reminds me that it was good to see Lee celebrating with the team on Saturday. I thought he had gone back to Japan to recuperate so don't know if he flew in specially?

Is it something the creditors committee could do?

http://www.thefa.com/video/GetIntoFootball/Keepy-Uppy/keepy-uppy---soccer-saturday [though still can't watch Kamara without swearing at him for blurting about Strachan going and interesting on the BBC buildup that Strachan mentioned the drop in players performance after it came out. On of those 'who knows what would have happened' had that been kept quiet so that Strachan could have ended the season]

I do wonder if the best option would be to name the new training complex after him once it is completed? Not sure he would have like a statue or the stadium named after him as that possibly a bit to brash for the way he was but the way the academy is run sums up to me what drew him to the club and to have his name associated with that would be, to me, the best lasting tribute to him.

Such a pity they did not leave quite enough room to put Bestest

I would like to point out that in the whole history of this forum I have never had a bad word to say about GM* (* never had a good one either but who is splitting hairs?)
-
The only way they will last past the 2nd of June if is someone buys them. Selling a couple of players is not going to allow them to stand up at the meeting and promise they will be able to for-fill their fixtures for next year.

They would have got away with it if it was not for that pesky administration.

I wonder how much West Ham still have to pay for Henderson? Must say his playing stats for West Ham are quite impressive: West Ham

Apps As sub Goals Yellow Red

Total (Club) 0 (0) 0 0 0

League 0 (0) 0 0 0

FA Cup 0 (0) 0 0 0

League Cup 0 (0) 0 0 0

European/Others 0 (0) 0 0 0
