  1. I think you will find that a proper investigation by someone not appointed by those previously in charge at pompey has only really recently got underway with the investigation of the liquidated OldCo so I think given the irons still in the fire (various court cases, CVA payments, investigation of liquidated company) I think it is still to early to say they have got away with it. Once all those have played out and they have not been punished in anyway I will agree with you but while those are still ongoing I believe it is still to early to say.
  2. Yes folks, its all over, nothing to see here.
  3. More likely to die laughing...
  4. This thread is not likely to close until: The CVA process is completed. The liquidation investigation of OldCo is completed and all possible resultant legal actions are resolved. All court cases involving people associated with them are completed and all resultant punishments, if any, resolved. The ownership of all land and offices used by pompey clearly resolved. Pompey shown to be living within their means. I will not be holding my breath on these...

  6. I am sure they are going from the championship to somewhere with 'League' in its name.
  7. Suspect its because its linked to the latter case involving saggy and they don't want the result of the current one publicized as it would make getting an unbias jury for the later one harder.
  8. Case against Storrie and MM continues tomorrow (http://www.courtserve2.net/courtlists/current/crown/sthwk_T110601.01.htm). I assume there is some sort of media blackout on reporting about this? (possibly I guess because it could not only affect this trial but saggies as well?)

    Got him

Don't see why you have to bring Harry Redknapp into this?
  17. Can see it being a confusing home match for the blue few. Pompey will be playing in their new away kit which, one assumes, means Chelsea will be the team in blue.
  18. Which possibly relates to the bit in the article that the ticket prices where 'under agreement with Chelsea' so possibly set high enough to cover what Chelsea are charging to go down there? If that's the case wonder how much of the gate money pompey will get?
  19. Looks like the bestiest fans are going to have to shell out for a new wardrobe next season: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/lampitt_dedicates_chelsea_visit_to_fans_1_2713162

  22. I am sure a job at pompey will help anyone from the FA rise to the very top in football DOCUMENTARY: Panorama On: BBC 1 East (101) Date: Monday 23rd May 2011 (starting in 9 minutes) Time: 20:30 to 21:00 (30 minutes long) Fifa: Football's Shame? - Panorama. As Fifa's host nation Switzerland demands that football's world governing body clean up its act, reporter Andrew Jennings asks whether either candidate in the Fifa presidential elections is suitable for the role. On June 1, 2011, the world's football associations will either re-elect current incumbent Sepp Blatter, or elect his challenger from Qatar, Mohamed Bin Hammam. The organisation they want to head is facing the biggest crisis in its history over allegations of corruption in its senior ranks. At its heart are questions over the World Cup bidding process and the multi-million dollar bribes scandal which Fifa refuses to investigate.
  23. I would not be surprised if he went for the original super injunction because another player had told him that how he kept his dalliances quiet.
