Didn't think he played that badly last night at all. Gave it away a few times, but certainly not more than N'Guessan or Butterfield did. He still wins a lot in midfield but I do agree that his form seems to have dropped slightly since the Man Utd game.

Unfortunately, the OP isn't too far wrong. Ok, so it's not ALL over if he's out for a few games, but without him we simply aren't anything like our best. In fact from what I've seen this season without Lallana we're very average. All we can do is pray he's alright for the next game.

I think people are getting confused with what they're agreeing with alpine about (if indeed at all). We are all desperate to win the game, but we all know it's not a must win, no matter how anyone tries to dress it up. It just seems like it is because of its importance.

Yeah, don't understand the 2 per season ticket idea but don't worry guys not every season ticket holder will want to buy extras. I for example will only buy 3 tickets on our three season tickets, so hopefully there'll be some left over for those who regularly travel away but don't have a ST.

Hmmm, hope not. The OS put up that story about the match day price increase only 4 days ago, so I hope that means they reckon there'll be some available. But yeah, if not I'll take a coat and hide the sash and scarf and sit with the Addicks fans.

Haha, brilliant post. Loved the last line, didn't see that coming. I'll echo everything Crab Lungs said in the above post regarding his feelings towards Brighton and Hove Albion. I was at the Millenium Stadium celebrating Brighton's victory in the play offs against Bristol City in 2004 and wrote a few times to that loony John Prescott and others begging for a new stadium for you. We're obviously not going to catch Brighton this season (IMO) but there's absolutely nothing wrong with Adkins saying he wants to win the League, of course that's still the aim if it's mathematically possible! As for Adkins-isms, I remember an article by a S****horpe supporter warning us Saints of what to expect from his post match interviews... they're great after a win, frustrating after a defeat. Very glad he's here, I like the bloke a lot.

Having said that I don't think he was the worst we've seen this season. My god we've had some shockers.

This is why I hate referees. Barnard's only intention was to stand next to, and get the ball, which he did. Unfortunately for the Sheff Weds defender, Barnard was slightly in the way so had to clatter into him. Contact? Contact! FOUL! Barnard don't do that again. Seriously, I jest a little but if you saw that as a foul then I'm worried.
