Agree with the comments about Hammond and Chaplow, thought they both played well. Chappers especially, never stopped putting them under pressure. We lost the midfield for about 10 minutes in the second half, nothing to get concerned about. Lallana is just unbelievable. How is a player of his ability and quality playing for Southampton? sounds like you were near me then for that game. i've only been to brentford's ground twice. the first time in the fa cup 2005(maybe?) when Crouchy and Phillips scored i believe, and it tipped it down on the unprotected saints fans, and then there was last season which was probably the coldest i've ever been at the match before. hoping for good weather this time, but most importantly a better result than last year.

Fonte has been superb but there is nobody in this league who even comes close to being as good a footballer as Lallana is. It's amazing how we kept hold of him, he has a huge future in the game. Doesn't matter how many games AL has played, he's been the best player by a huge distance. JF had a pretty poor spell midway through the season and is still prone to making the odd mistake, whereas I can't remember ever seeing Lallana do anything wrong. Fonte is great, but Lallana is god.

Mike you're a hero for getting this started. Like others have said it's a shame we can't get it done for Walsall but it gives us plenty of time to create something special. I personally would like to see the flag kept by supporters, well, us, Mike, whoever, and taken to as many games as possible if permitted by each individual club. However this isn't something we need to worry about now, we could have a poll once the flag is made to decide it's fate. Thanks again Mike, I look forward to donating.

The line on the above image makes Guly appear offside but the line is nowhere near straight so can't really tell from that. Tough call for the lino it seems. Brilliant cross from our POTS and good header from Guly though.

Only scored 7?! BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Lallana out! No, I jest. But I'm serious when I say Lallana is by and far the best player in the division and has proved it again this season despite being injured. It'll be really strange if he doesn't win this year in my opinion, but Fonte would be a brilliant back up choice.

We need to be more organised next time though and prearrange a meeting place before we starting walking up.
