Not sure about that, the talk has been about the T-shirt sleeve rule that IFAB brought in. TV mentioned it as a reason why the Liverpool third goal was chalked offside. I may be wrong but that’s my understanding of it.

Is that handball? Fuzzy pic is inconclusive. Handball being below the t-shirt line only, hard to tell from that where the impact of the ball is. Not as clear cut as saying it’s a definite handball. Probably just about, but very very close and wouldn’t be surprised to see the ref not overturn that one had it been reviewed.

I saw a stat earlier today that, in week 5 now, there hasn’t yet been a 0-0 draw in the PL this season. Quite surprising.

Yeah this is where I’m at. Not expecting him to rip up trees. But everyone knows we are short of decent options beyond the first team, so if he adds to that with minimal up front fee and a decent deal on the wages, then fine. Adams finished last season looking like he’d found his mojo, but aside from a few bright spots he hasn’t quite found it again yet since the restart. Still think there’s a player there but he seems to thrive on confidence and it’s not quite there just yet. I see him and Theo maybe vying for the CF2 spot alongside Ings. If not then it’s a decent option to have instead of Redmond Armstrong and Djnepo (who has a long way to yet). Not the Blockbuster transfer some were hoping for but there’s at least a bit of promise, and we’re not saddling ourselves with a multi year liability.

Horrible to watch but much needed 3 points. Much improvement needed as it was basically Burnley reserves.

Yep, we’ve had our pants pulled down there before, that’s for sure.

We’ve gone off the boil. No ability to keep the ball for any extended time. Not sure I’ve seen a team look less threatening as us from corners as the few we’ve had so far. Almost like we don’t push too many forwards to protect against the counter attack.

We look decent enough when in possession but don’t seem to have the same sort of zip as last season for winning the ball back and settling play, it’s all a bit frantic.

Was mostly a waste of time trying to get on here during game time for me. But then it was a waste of time paying any attention to the game. So, meh.
