Its quite poor. I tried to do a mongboard player of the season from the MOTM match votes; only around half of the games actually had MOTMs associated. Disappointing.

But I'd have thought they might have better things to do than brag about being better than a League 1 club as much as they did in our game; I found their obsession a bit funny, but I was surprised they spent so much time revelling in it. I'm of a generation that spent many years in the PL not even thinking about Pompey, they were never on the radar. They're back there again; and while its humourous to laugh at their demise, now that they're in L2 and so far away I'm starting to forget about them all over again.

Because its a bit like coming up with a song bragging about being a bigger club than Eastleigh.

I agree. He's good enough for a PL side looking for lower league safety. He's not right for a team looking to get into the top ten; and his whole style of play demands that we play through him more often than not. Sadly I don't think JRod is ready to do a better job instead of him, so we need to be splashing out a good deal in the summer.

Also, rather worryingly, SFC as a whole have scored just 1 goal in the last 4 games, and none in the last three. This barren spell coincided with me putting Lambert and Rodriguez in my fantasy league team, so I share some of the culpability. Although I redressed the matter before kick off today and it seemed to have little effect.
