I wonder if we're still interested in Toby Savin - a replacement 'Harry Lewis-esque" third keeper that we could mold into first team football. Just turned 21, 6'4'' with nearly 80 appearances already for Accrington Stanley. Then have a loan keeper as our 2 (Bazunu) to McCarthy. It would be nice if we could have a 2nd and 3rd keeper that we could potentially rely on should McCarthy have his period of poor performances.

Even though I doubt Leeds and Burnley will win their fixtures on Sunday... but the old adage of 38 points = safety is very close to being true this season, even if it isn't in other seasons.

Everton fans will now be hoping for a City League/Real CL double now for a really good summer. Burnley draw. It's in their hands but Leeds could get something at Brentford and Newcastle will be out to ruin Burnley's day.

Well if Burnley don't get a winner, we can't finish 17th. So that's something to cheer... 😡

Lampard at Everton reminds me of Hughes with us - grinding out results to keep their respective teams in the League while playing terrible football. I only hope that, like we did with Hughes, they keep faith in Lampard because, right now, I think he's overrated.
