Have to get Tonda sent off too and level the playing field.
-
If our next manager goes to 4 at the back, and keeps it game in game out, I think I'm going to start a shrine to that person in my house. Archer!
-
New year new start?
-
I'd bloody love Matsuki to come on and smash one in. Show us what we've been missing!
-
I'm watching and I'm not loving it. No Scienza no party.

I hate 3CBs, always have. This question is one of the easiest to answer. The worrying thing is that while our performances improved a bit after he was brought in as interim, Tonda seems wedded to the 3 CBs. The issue is, presently, we have no right backs fit and two left backs that aren't good defenders. Sort that out first. Also our better two CBs this season (low bar) have been THB and Wood, Jack is jack and I've not been sold on Quarshie since he signed. Edwards meanwhile isn't even getting a look in. I think it's hideously ironic that two positions we have quantity (CB and striker) are the two positions that need improving most.
-
Just no defending that. They were shit and they won. We were just shit. Eckert brought our two brightest attacking talents off early and left 3 CBs on all game. I was never convinced by Eckert and I'm even less so now. I hope this is not a long term appointment. Right now I can't see us even finishing top half of the table. We need to start building for next season and that includes a manager.
-
Oh I'm not sure, I reckon they have it in them to see us in the division below.
-
Take off a defender and put Archer on ffs. Why in the holy hell do we still have 3 CBs on the pitch. I don't care how many times I say it, I don't, and will never, like 3 CBs.
-
So our two best attacking talents have been subbed off. Tonda really is settling for a point here. I guess us fans are now hoping for another set piece miracle if we want a win. I can see Oxford winning this.
-
Taylor! At least we have set piece goals...
-
Jesus Saints. We really are shit. Atrack a bit without any real penetration then watch them smash one in. There's only so long you can talk about the Eckert bounce before it's irrelevant. Big transfer window coming up if we want to try to get into the playoffs this season.

This for me. I seem to remember it was bloody chilly but totally worth it. Just had a quick look at the starting line up. I'd forgotten Neil Trotman ever played for us, let alone that I'd seen him score. Starting lineup: GoalkeeperBart Białkowski DefenderNeal Trotman Defender/Centre backChris Perry Defender/MidfielderDan Harding Defender/MidfielderLloyd James Defender/MidfielderMorgan Schneiderlin MidfielderDean Hammond Midfielder/ForwardMichail Antonio Midfielder/ForwardAdam Lallana Midfielder/ForwardRickie Lambert ForwardDavid Connolly Substitutions: Joe Mills for Adam Lallana 61 Papa Waigo N'Diaye for David Connolly 75 Paul Wotton for Joe Mills 83

Happy Non-Denominational Plagiarised Pagan Winter Solstice Festival!

I'm nursing a chest infection but I'm medicating it with Beechams All in One and 19 Crimes Red Wine and it's going pretty well so far. A Saints win on Boxing Day would make me feel even better. And I'm not drunk, but Scienza is better than Messi. There I said it. Anyway happy Christmas season to all you poor, long suffering fools, of which I have been one for the last 36 years. Don't worry, we'll win a trophy in the next ten years. I forsee it. -
At least you can say Welington is playing out of position. That's on Tonda. Manning has been playing LB/LWB for years and he is currently the best we have. We're miles away from the Prem.
-
We have to win the second half. Should be fun.
-
Watching this on and off (working) and some of our play has been horrifying. Manning there just before the goal just smashed it back to their players. Awful. Defence with no header either. That was a simple goal for them.
-
Pre-season I'd have put money on our respective League positions being reverse of what they are but credit to old Lamps and his team, they're flying. But, as comes with being top and in good form, that makes us the underdogs for this one, and we have the talent to spring a surprise. We need to get some winning consistency and beating Cov will help a lot with that for the rest of the month. St Mary's will be buzzing for this one. 2-1 Saints though I am not confident on that.
-
Essentially some things should be noted. Fellows is key to our attacking success. AA can take a good penalty but not always. Defence needs improving. Eckert needs to work on his game plan. We need better squad players. Plus some other stuff that I'm too tipsy to think about.
-
Score the penalty and this is a different story... but it's not. Hey ho. We go again.
-
Not our day. Annoyingly I'm getting ribbed by my mates for this and it'll be worse when I get home.
-
Nah 2 1 final score
-
We go again...
-
A draw would now be acceptable. Seriously.
-
This isn't in the script...
