Many, many moons ago I used to work as a passenger boat captain, and I was given a private job at Henley Management College. Easy job, pick up some people, drive them around a bit whilst they got drunk, and get them back to Henley Management College without killing them. Bobby was on board and asked to use the PA system, then proceeded to crack jokes for about ten minutes. He also encouraged the guests to put their hands in their pockets to sort me and my crew out with some tips, so I can't fault him.

Alex Mc and Jones will be out of contract and I'd be surprised if we saw either still here next year, Baz and Peretz gone and Long will be end of loan. It'll be a clean slate for our GK department.

Not far off Skintsaint! It's interesting to look back at some old threads to see what we were feeling back in late October. This one was just after we lost to Blackburn. We lost the next game to Preston, Will Still was sacked and then came the Coming of Tonda and the excellent run he had before the Christmas lull. Who'd have thought that a 32 year old German with no experience managing in football would change things as much as he has. This club has made some punts before but the punts on Tonda, Peretz and Larin look like master strokes right now. More successful punts needed in the summer, whatever league we're in.
