It is currently basking in a ZERO per cent success rate in all the times I've been using it so whether you believe the wheel is up to you. Jesus H Christos Jr the Third. Awful line up again. I know we're somewhat stuffed in midfield but seriously Smallbone is not the Premier League answer. I just want a manager that stops playing a back 3. I want us to win today, beat that lot down the road, but I'm not confident with that line up.

I can see it now: 22nd December 2032, Saints, bottom of League One with just a handful of points and playing terribly under the management of second-chancer Nathan Jones, are playing Portsmouth at St Mary's. The score is 3-0 to the Skates at half time. Weary but loyal Saints fans look up at the sky and see the asteroid coming. "Thank God," one yells, "something to put us out of our misery." A punt from a now-35 year old Adam Armstrong hits the asteroid, bashing it back into space. Saints go on to lose the game 5-0. "We can't catch a break," says one annoyed Saints fan. 🙂

For me, this would have been the perfect opportunity to play 2 CBs and put a striker up with Tyler and Supermana. But that's just me. Lack of CBs maybe put paid to that. Enough to win in attack perhaps.

Thats my prediction.

If it came down to keeping AA or Archer, I think we made the right choice. Onuachu appears to be our number one striker now unless Juric plays Dibling and Sulemana as our main two attackers, Archer as back up, there was no need for AA who has proven himself not to be good at this level. I like AA, I hope we get him back next season but this season he wasn't going to get much game time. Granted we are a couple of striker injuries away from hoping Stewart comes back from the dead or using youth, but as we're down anyway, it's not much of an issue.
