It was offside. But they could argue so was ours. We need to take our chances or this sort of stuff can happen.

Awful goal to concede. Turned off.

Shite

It's so comfortable for us and yet I want a third to relax.

Smallbone definitely goes under the radar a lot of the time but positionally he's constantly popping up in random places to mop up. Late bloomer. Brilliant from Downes... Another decent chance. Corner.

Should have been 3. AA goes down and that could have been a penalty. It's Saints vs Rushworth right now.

Finally Saints playing like we've wanted to see for years and they're still causing people pain! 🤪

This could be 4 or 5 again but need to keep our heads. Another goal and we should be out of sight.

Great stuff. Killer attack.

Couple of sloppy passes last few mins.

THB taking one for the team. Yellow

Should have been two perhaps. Great block their keeper

Nice goal

What a goal that would have been if Che could shoot. 🤪

Interesting game. As has been said we need to start winning the tricky away fixtures. Live on Sky is a great way to show the neutrals how far we've come. Nervous? Sure I am, but hopefully the players aren't and just play we well as they have been lately. An odd goal win will do. Its all about keeping on the pressure at the top of the table.

Beat me to it!

Not that it affects me as I've taken my daughter this season and now sit in the family corner of the K&C (and will continue to do so unless I go alone) but having the away fans in the Kingsland North would keep them off camera a lot of the time! However I think logistically having them closest to the entry/exit bridge north of the stadium could present problems logistically. My guess based on nothing but making it as logistically sensible in my head as I can is that, if the club actually do this, the away fans will go in the Itchin North. All just a guess. As for safe standing, I went to Elm Park back in 96 for the Reading vs Saints game that we lost 3-1, and my mate and I were able to jostle to the front of what was a packed standing stand (I was in with the Royals for my sins with my bomber jacket completely done up to hide my shirt) and I saw nothing wrong with it then.

We've signed Fraser, THB, Downes and Holgate on loan this season - our loan game has been very strong and so I put my faith in this signing as being a good one. Review from a MU fan from 9 years ago when he was a youngster - https://thefalse9.com/2015/02/rough-diamonds-18-joe-rothwell-manchester-united.html?utm_content=cmp-true Also looking at other team's forums, people seem to rate him quite highly.

Should win. Might draw. Won't lose. Saints over the years have worn us down so much we can't believe good things will continue to happen to us. But they might. I have this down as a "must not lose" rather than a must win - though a draw is far from a good result at the moment with the other teams still picking up points, it might still get us a point closer to Ipswich who have Leicester. Fraser is on fire, Adams has found his scoring boots and the defence is keeping clean sheets (bar the Baz brain fart and the Sargent goal that was flukey) - I struggle to see any result but a Saints win. I'll give Swansea a goal - 1-3.

Sounds a bit like SaintsWeb tbf. 😁

Yeah same for me, 2nd gets you the same result as winning the league, just without the League winner's trophy. I still think Leicester can be caught but it is highly unlikely. What is most annoying is that a 3 horse race this season (as it was always going to be) has become a 4 horse race - however no disrespect to Ipswich but I really think they'll start slipping away as the legs wear out and squad depth takes over. If we keep playing as we are, no brain farts, we will get promoted. My worry though is that Leeds have an abundance of riches particularly in attack. Keep our necks above them and we'll be fine.

No disrespect to Shea but he's young and inexperienced at CB. Going in to the latter part of the season with only 3 specialist CBs (one who has just returned from a long injury) would worry me. Additionally we have our back up RB Bree playing LB (when he's not injured) so Holgate provides us with a back up RB option. Personally I hope he stays. It does make another loan player tricky though - maybe we can sign Brooks on a permanent?

To be fair the team has played so well lately that there are no real gaps in the squad. The only real question mark is Che/new striker but while he's here, he seems to be delivering. Martin has said he wants a RW to replace Tella but even that isn't a big priority whilst we have other options there (and SAA and Dibling waiting in the wings). It's the first transfer window where I haven't actively wished we'd go out and sign somebody immediately - we're fine as we are right now. As the season goes on and injuries and suspensions tot up we might hope to see an extra player or two brought in for that, but otherwise there's not much point. EDIT - I had that all written and since then the Rothwell loan has been announced!

Goal for every attacker today. As it should be.
