  1. Tokyo, not sure if you are married, but if you are, then I am sure you will agree that the longer you are, the lower your standards (sort of any port in a storm, or for that matter any port even if it is like a mill pond)
  2. Sure....http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z272/Dave27uk/F23E2F7C-975C-4E63-B019-B6DD9E4BC73F-906-0000005A56FC2E5B_zpsfa0284b4.jpg
  3. Eva Carneiro - she could massage my thigh strain any day of the week.
  4. Has José's nose been bruised and swollen or is it always that big?
  5. Didn't realise that they tried to sign again, but I was referring to the first loan (was it back in September?) that seemed to be playing with BS's career too much.
  6. As he thinks he's too good for us (and this is obviously backed up by his 3 goals in 13 games), then I am not sure that he is going to be rehabilitated any time soon.
  7. Makes a change from what seemed (!) to have happened when Billy S went to Reading, although some lay the blame with Reading dragging things out so that they could cover the Xmas period.
  8. He's arrogant and no one likes him, well, at least according to this update: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2545233/Dani-Osvaldo-branded-arrogant-Southampton-team-mates-brawl.html Surprised Ashton is jizzing this out.
  9. Read somewhere or other that Wolfsburg are lining up a £7m bid, as well as the usual Serie A bits.
  10. Reports are that he has been transfer listed (all damn quick if you ask me) so would be surprised if we see him again. After the goal vs ManC, I got a little bit excited for a few minutes.
  11. I think you just need look at LS's tweets as well.
  12. http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio_Estero/Premierleague/23-01-2014/premier-southampton-sospende-osvaldo-intemperanze-allenamento-202162382827.shtml Interesting comments from an Italian WC angle.
  13. Pretty damning tweeting by LS. Can't see him coming back into the fold now that the rest of the camp (inc the management what with taking it upstairs so quickly) have laid their cards on the table. Team spirit always was very important and it's not worth having one bad apple upsetting everyone else. A shame really.
  14. In all this, I find it interesting that the press were going on about melt down because of the CEO leaving. That would mean that the CEO was bigger than the club. The press seemed to go further and portray the CEO as being the club.
  15. Well it's a good thing it isn't your money then. Que sera sera.
  16. If that is the case, why did manager and staff go upstairs straight away?
  17. If there is nothing wrong with ambition, then I guess that you are in agreement with MP and that there is no regret. But I am interested in how you would have preferred him to say it - in English maybe? What has KL got to do with it? You asked whether MP regretted it. If you are made to look silly, always best to retreat rather than try and dig yourself out of a hole with a load more nonsense.
  18. Why would you regret showing ambition? What would you prefer - a manager saying CL or one saying mid table? What's the point of being in the competition if you are content with coming 8th-12th?
  19. Divided camp is a bad thing. Ship him out to Inter, cut one's losses, don't worry about the reaction from other supporters (pride before a fall) and sign some good English talent.
  20. +1, although it seems that Gaston had turned (or begum to) the corner and looked better. Still, our Latin players don't do very well here.
  21. Reckon it was Fox, and that Osvaldo took exception at being called a **** player by him.
  22. WTF (I think that's all I can muster)
  23. **** me I haven't seen such poor penalties in my life
  24. OMG PMSL WTF etc
  25. Great finish....came in from having my motor mended, Man U were going through and in the space of the next 5 minutes, we have had all possibilities. On balance would prefer Sunderland to go through.
