Any news on Safri ? he nearly went before the season started but IIRC the deal fell through? after reading the article in the Echo about wages it'll be good to offload Rudi (never really lived up to the hype IMO) and possibly a few others like Safri (if he's not already gone) along with Thomas (big wages and hasnt kicked a ball all season) i am guessing Watford and Bristol will only want Rasiak / John if they make the play offs, so we'll end up with them back in the summer and have to try and sell them off again.

i think they also put a warning in the manure dressing room about a sniper that was roaming the stadium and may cause players to fall down for no reason

I drive out that way and right at the end of the road (furthest away from the stadium) the road was all cordoned off by the police around the traffic lights with lots of police around the scene RIP to the chap still he died going to a game he loved

think Charlton made a similar offer when they were relegated from the Prem if they got promoted straight back up

OK so Birmingham clearly not in the same financial mire as us, but they are prepared to drop 100k to give all ST holders a free ticket to the cup game against Wolves. I was hoping as a ST holder that a small reduction would be offered by the club. Two of us have tickets so we can buy 4 extra and our 2 (if i read the info correct) so will buy 6 (not likely) but could if i wanted and sell them to MANURE fans (again NOT LIKELY) so just before Xmas time to shell out £60 for me and Mum and another £30 for the girlfriend ! I'm in total agreement with the club trying to make a few quid BUT hope they remember this when asking for ST renewals in MARCH !!!! Be nice to us Mr Lowe as we are getting fewer and fewer every season

Friendly word to all non members and ST holders - next season become a member to guarantee a ticket to the big match. why would ST holders need to be members ? surely they show enough loyalty by shelling out in March / April to the club to be valued enough to have priority on tickets for cup games !

as i was typing it i thought exactly the same and i for one would not want to line his pockets any further maybe the trust could run it and present the money in some sort of bond probably directly to the bank !!

ok so were bleeding money and its a little obvious that we'll sell in january. perhaps this site with passionate supporters should focus efforts on trying to do things to raise funds for the club. I'm not suggesting car boot sales or summer fete's on the pitch but perhaps through the supporters club things could happen (sorry not able to start a thread) i noticed at Reading the people selling the golden gamble tickets (similar to 50/50 tickets at ice hockey) avearage attendance around 10,000 so perhaps 5,000 buy a ticket for a £1 and the prize is £2,500 and the rest goes to the club. ok i know that this is not going to solve our problems overnight but its a start. (admins or anyone feel free to start this as a new thread)

think if we'd taken all our chances and been 3 or 4 up i might've had to was quite near the saints fans and enjoyed my first away trip of the season

the minutes applause was perfect to celebrate a young mans life, i think worth a shout for all the commentators / press / TV guys and girls all stood and joined in too.

had to sit on my hands as i was in with the reading fans, quite close to the saints though and was singing under my breath !!!! got a hand shake from the reading fans sat next to me. thought the singing was great throughout
