Remembered for the Lancaster and the initial designs for the Vulcan. And of course we cannot forget R.J. Mitchell, “He first lived in Radstock Road, Woolston, and then with his wife Florence and son Gordon in a house built to his own design in Russell Place in Highfield. His ashes were interred at South Stoneham Cemetery. There are blue plaques in his memory at 2 Russell Place and Hazel Road.“ His ashes are interred in South Stoneham Cemetery together with the body of his wife, Florence.

Indeed. But if it isn’t and relies on NFC I can foresee problems. I know the club were looking at digital tickets two summers ago but couldn’t do anything on account of the worldwide shortage of NFC chips. (As a lifelong electronics design engineer I hate the use of the word ‘chips’)
