  1. Dripping in front of me in block 32.
  2. Not just me then🤭
  3. Incredible? I couldn’t believe it either. I spent a lot of it covering my eyes in fear. The most exciting bits were when we were messing about in our own goal area inviting disaster.
  4. Djenepo was a lot better.
  5. Maybe they were pleased that he was being taken off, or because it was the last time that they would see him?
  6. Possibly. In defence of Bree there was one instance in the first half when Stoke were attacking and all our other defenders had gone across to our right leaving Bree to cover two Stoke players, a winger wide on their right and an attacking runner through the centre. He called across for someone to cover the centre runner and was ignored so he left his winger and came across to the middle. Stephens in particular has tunnel vision and can only see the ball in front of him. He is not aware of what is going on elsewhere. Fortunately nothing came of their attack.
  7. Is this possibly because they are only on loan?
  8. Not so much that as a team that doesn’t believe in the way of playing. There was only one team yesterday that had any desire about the result. The team selection was an insult to the supporters.
  9. I feel much the same. In some ways I’d rather not be bothered about the two games in the playoffs. I cannot raise any excitement for them and I could do without the distraction. My garden needs attention as well as a hundred other things.
  10. Initially I was prepared to give him a chance but now, like you, I’ve had more than enough.
  11. A beautifully constructed goal for Hull makes it 2-2
  12. Meaningless. The fact that the unbeaten games happened consecutively is a statistical quirk. Spread them out more randomly and you will see that they were simply part of a pattern. So far we have lost 11 games out of 45. That means we were unbeaten in 34 games. Ipswich have been unbeaten in 38 out of 34. Leicester 34/44, Leeds 36/45. They are all good figures but the fact that a lump of ours came in a contiguous run is nothing worth celebrating.
  13. A broken one.
  14. They kept waiting in the freezing rainy weather for at least twenty minutes. What does anybody expect?
  15. In my opinion possession in your own half shouldn’t count.
  16. It’s not an argument, it’s a discussion and in my case all views are welcome. In the case of Jack Stephens my opinion is based on several seasons of watching him perform. I just don’t think he has the ability to concentrate for a whole 90 minutes or more. In the Premier League especially everything happens very quickly and your reactions and positioning have to be instinctive because there’s no time to think. In my opinion he too often gets caught ball watching or goes off chasing rabbits.
  17. He’s not very good. That’s the problem.
  18. I’m more concerned about the team than any individual players. We need a settled first eleven who know each other’s game inside out. After 44 games you might expect us to have that. Too much chopping and changing and trying to be too clever.
  19. We’ve lost our last two games. Do you want to go into the playoffs having lost our last four?
  20. No. We need to prepare for the playoffs with our best possible team. Now is not the time to take any risks.
  21. Ah. Of course.
  22. Unless we play each other?
  23. 4-0 now
  24. Their goal difference is getting worse 😃
