  1. AP must rate him because he was one of the players he highlighted last week: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1204832/Young-diamonds-lower-leagues-Southampton-boss-Alan-Pardews-guide-rising-stars-QPR-Crystal-Palace.html
  2. And the rest: http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/Hell+This+Hurts
  3. Norwich know that we are on -10 and are waiting until we catch up.
  4. Happy To Help HTH
  5. How many are expected to turn up? I'm looking forward to a night of pressure-free football but I don't know of anybody else who's going.
  6. My daughter lives up near you so I'll probably be along this season to watch you thrash us again. Hopefully you'll be able to spend the money wisely.
  7. Perhaps RL part 2 referred to 'Rickie Lambert'?
  8. Well it will boost me, even though I already have a ticket. Am I the only one going?
  9. ok, now you can get on with the songs!
  10. Have a clutch at these:
  11. I think it would be better for my health (and productivity) if I didn't keep logging on to this forum. Just give me a weekly summary on Friday night and I would be spared all the ups and downs.
  12. North East or South Coast, no contest. Unless there's money involved.
  13. Bit previous, aren't we?
  14. I read something in the papers this morning (either Daily Mail or Times, I can't remember which) that a guest of Cortese was asked to pay £125 for his lunch and seat. Could that have been WGS? It also mentioned that ML and Cortese had to buy their own season tickets, as we already knew.
  15. ...and look where they are now.
  16. I also noticed him telling a ballboy to slow things down once we had the lead. Shame it didn't last long.
  17. Looks a bit one-footed to me. :smt047
  18. He's gone: deal with it: move on.
  19. I think you're looking at the wrong division, professor. Last season S****horpe got to the playoffs on 76 points and Peterborough got the second spot on 89 points so allowing for the -10 we would have needed to get 86 points, quite achievable. We would have needed to be slightly better than Leicester to have been automatically promoted with -10. ( http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalLeagueTable/0,,10794~200825,00.html )
  20. Not in my opinion. I was watching the ref closely and he didn't blow until after the swallow dive. Watching the recording at home it looked like a Millwall handball when Thomas was on the ground and Thomas was held back as he got up. I wasnt too impressed by the ref who let a lot of stuff go and I don't know what the assistant thought he saw when Saga's header was ruled out.
  21. Or Slitty Clappy? (Enjoying Ernie sounds rather like a dubious Saturday night pastime, unless you're referring to the Benny Hill appreciation society)
  22. These are both rather extreme epithets to describe Saints' supporters. The season hasn't kicked off yet and we are being divided into two different camps. Can't we just enjoy the football? I haven't done that for quite a while.
  23. I have never said that I am happy to remain in this division for more than one season, just that I am prepared to be patient and wait for the proper foundations to be laid which will lead to sustained improvement in our league standings. With -10 points automatic promotion this season will be difficult, but not impossible, and I am fully confident that the management team will take the necessary steps to achieve long-term growth. Having said that, there are bound to be the occasional setbacks but at least we are heading in the right direction.
  24. We love you too. :smt008
