You didn't mention Tottenham a few years ago. What was it originally? 12 points deduction and a whopping fine? Even the ground stewards at the time knew that it would never be implemented. Weren't Swindon demoted one year when Hoddle had won them promotion?
But if a buyer for the Club can be found in the immediate future then why should the club be punished just for the administration of the landlord? From what little I have read, it would seem that the League have taken this decision because they feel miffed that Grant Thornton say that they haven't been given access to the figures. This smacks to me of politics. It would not surprise me if Rupert had put a few backs up during his time at Soho Square.
Now I'm getting angry..... Ok, one more time. The fans cannot be blamed for this mess in any way, shape or form. You simply cannot blame the customers for not buying the product if the product is cr@p. Perhaps if the incompetents who have been trying to run this club had realised that sooner then we might not be in this mess.
So imagine this.... by some miracle we finish out of the bottom three, the 10 points are applied which relegates us, we win the appeal and are re-instated in the Championship, Barnsley or Forest are relegated instead. This one could run and run.
So if Forest of Barnsley win none we still need to win two? Either way, we need to win both our games whatever happens. A win and a draw might just be enough if Norwich don't get more than one point and Barnsley lose both their games. We still have a goal difference of seven to make up on Barnsley which might be possible if they lose two and we win one / draw one. It's looking very grim.
