  1. Now you’re being ridiculous, if not stupid. I’m sure you know better than this but your weird preoccupation with me leads you to post these personal attacks. Under Puel we were dire. Under Martin we are just awful. Am I so wrong to want something better? Something that most other clubs have?
  2. It’s a classic case of style over substance.
  3. We’ve conceded 16 goals in six matches so far. At this rate we shall have exceeded our quota before the end of October. Projections after only 6 games are always dangerous but I cannot see any reasons for optimism. This imposter just doesn’t know how to defend.
  4. There was an occasion in the second half when he came and showed for the ball and was in plenty of space but he just pinged it straight back to the full back. A proper midfielder should have known how much time and room he had and turned with the ball to move upfield. This must be a result of constant training in this way of playing. Is it simply to increase the statistics of possession and number of passes?
  5. RM is trying to cook the brick until it’s tender.
  6. Pellegrino has much the same attitude. Concentrate on playing the way that he wanted and results are secondary.
  7. A one pace pony. And that pace is ‘funereal’
  8. That almost never happens in professional football. Three players break clear with only the keeper to beat.
  9. To stay in another EU country you had to be either economically active, or a student, or financially independent. Belgium, for example, rigidly enforce these rules. But without ID cards it’s more difficult to prove who is eligible and who is not.
  10. Attacking at pace would indeed be a welcome novelty.
  11. Or Europe. I’s only Freedom of Movement of Labour
  12. Pep would have been too young.
  13. It was never an unqualified right to live anywhere in the EU. Other countries enforced the restrictions. The UK didn't. And if you believed that goalmouth Farage it proces the points made earlier.
  14. You only need to look at the people who thought it was a good idea to know that it would be a bad idea.
  15. I don’t think I ever saw him play despite have season ticket.
  16. We should have scored more, not saved the single goals.
  17. Society is still paying for it.
  18. Are you sure that's water?
  19. We needed another 12 points. How many goals would these two have scored?
  20. A better keeper will lead to better results. But in a team with a bad defence he may not make a big difference.
  21. And that’s what’s fundamentally wrong about it. Television has changed the Laws of the Game and not for the better. This business about not flagging immediately for offside is one example. An offside player who is not flagged can run through and win a corner from which play continues. This is not right.
  22. I would prefer that they used the badge on the shirt as the marker. It’s what is effectively used in athletics. Having said that, I would prefer that it wasn’t used at all.
  23. As has never been proven. Please don’t make up your own facts.
  24. Times change. And so should the Laws of offside if they are going to be affected by TV.
  25. When the offside law was introduced it was never intended that it should be judged to the nearest millimetre.
