  1. And perhaps this one will.
  2. “How many sugars in your tea?”
  3. Only very slightly and I thought he had enough time to adjust. He seemed to get caught by surprise but that’s what can happen when you don’t play for a while. However, if the glove had been on the other hand…
  4. Obviously not what we needed.
  5. It’s the sort of thing that people with no brains do.
  6. He is not British. He chose to leave and go to a country of which he is a citizen. He should ask his own government for protection. Where he works has no bearing on the matter.
  7. Really? He let the ball dribble past him.
  8. This may be stating the bleeding obvious but football is a team game. It’s not just a case of choosing a set of 11 players and sending out on the pitch in the hope that somehow between them they can stop goals going in our goal and score goals at the other end. Much of the enjoyment of watching football is to see the fluid movement and interchange of players with the aim of overloading the opposition in certain areas and gaining an advantage that might lead to an attack and a scoring opportunity. In many aspects moving men around on a pitch is similar to a battle or even a game of chess. What we do is like playing postal chess whilst the other teams are playing speed chess. “Get there the fastest with the mostest” is always a good idea.
  9. Who’s playing Short Stop?
  10. Isn’t that against their Human Rights?
  11. As i pointed out before, on the training ground it's Saints defenders playing against Saints attackers. What could go wrong?
  12. The season has now ended for us. Is he still here?
  13. Their goal came from our own throw-in in their half.
  14. Perraud looked distraught when he had to go off injured.
  15. The drowning man drags others down with him. Yep, I can handle that.
  16. Because Bournemouth are fifty years behind the rest of the country.

    Deported to where? Ukraine?
  18. Because he was instructed to to so? Maybe that was part of the story.
  19. Has anybody ever worked out the purpose of that? All it does is waste time and bore the fans. On the football side it gets us nowhere.
  20. They are not aimed at Saints fans.
  21. I came home and watched the last 15 minutes on fast forward. All I saw was cross after cross being lobbed into their penalty area and being headed straight back out. Nothing being driven flat with pace and accuracy. The starting formation was weird. A back four, JWP and Latvia sitting just in front of them and a midfield two of Alcatraz and Elyonoussi with Walcott right wing and A Armstrong on the left. A sort of 4-2-2-2. There was no linkage or interplay between the defence and the attack. In the first half when we were defending we had everybody back within 35 yards of our goal line. From where I sit in the Kingsland just north of the halfway line I was staring at an empty field of grass.
  22. Bournemouth is where old people go to be ignored. Their fans seem to think that beating us is something special. They don’t realise that most of the other teams in the league do it too.
  23. That must have been the Bournemouth players.
  24. My neighbour’s instant reaction was that he hand Selles had had a fallout in the dressing room over the negative way that we had been playing. Hence the diplomatic illness. AMN went into midfield to fill his place and Lyanco came on to replace AMN at right back. We lost any shape that we had in the first half.
