1. Whatever you call it there are more holes than a slice of emmental. Particularly wide on the wings just in front of the fullbacks and just back from the front line.
2. First time I've seen us live. It's supposed to be 'the beautiful game' but today was an awful confused mess. Apart from a few early slick moves we settled into a shapeless mess with no cohesion or unified plan of action. I lost count of the number of times the ball was nicked off our feet and only a last-ditch stretch saved the situation but these can lead to injuries and dangerous fouls, even penalties. Not impressed and I can only hope that more playing time and a change of system will rescue our season.
3. He's clearly not officer material.
4. He wasn't ours to let go. He was only on loan from Fulham.
5. Who?
6. Make sure you're in incognito mode or else the draw will get more diffcult.
7. Probably best not to tell them that when you arrive at their immigration counter.
8. And for political balance: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Israel-Large-Hand-Waving-Courtesy-Flag-/120877268046?hash=item1c24d8bc4e:g:0g8AAOSwARZXjyjq http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xisrael+uk+friendship+badge.TRS0&_nkw=israel+uk+friendship+badge&_sacat=0

10. We had Arabic stamps in ours with no problems getting into Israel. I think it's those with Israeli stamps who have problems with Arab countries.
11. Fill your scarpe: http://www.teatroallascala.org/en/season/2015-2016/opera/index.html 7th December is Madam Bufferfly :o
12. Was she that fat girl behind the ice cream stall, the one with with the fishnet stockings? I don't suppose she's still there these days
13. When we went the Israelis didn't actually stamp our passports, they gve us an entry document which we kept in our passports and handed back on leaving. We were only there for a day visit so maybe that was different. Are meals out cheap in Israel Just a thought...
14. Nah, we'll probably take a lot more than that
15. Good point. The only snag is that you might have to go to a game of fotball.
16. Email beforehand. During the discussions on here our friend in denmark got involved. I had tried logging into the Midtjylland website and got as far as selecting my seats but they wanted a Danish credit card for payment and at that point I was thinking about contacting my old Danish contacts. Does anybody on here know any Saints fans that live in Italy, Czech Republic, Israel even?
17. There were quite a few of us in the home section next to the Saints. I got some tickets in advance from a nice friendly Danish Saints fan.
18. No matter how big the country is it always seems to fit on the page.
19. I was thinking of driving.
20. Yes, thanks. I've just done some more research. Does anybody fancy driving there? I once met two old ladies in Palmyra who had driven all the way from Italy in a Fiat 500.
21. We paid a day visit from Haifa on a cruise and did a tour around the Sea of Galilee. It was not what you might expect at all, more like the south of France or Italy than a dusty Middle-Eastern country.
22. No? I was using Wikipedia already: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hapoel_Tel_Aviv_F.C. Edit: Who would have thought that there were two teams called Hapoel? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hapoel_Be%27er_Sheva_F.C. That's the great thing about these European competitions. You learn so much about other cities and cultures.
23. Bloomfield stadium in Jaffa: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloomfield_Stadium
24. I thought it was Tel Aviv. And why not play there?
