We don't actually choose our politicians, that's all done by the parties. We are presented with a very short list and asked to put a cross against one of them.

I used to have some cigarette cards about this which my grandfather must have collected so some of the names and images are very familiar to me. At that time it would only have been 40 years since the events. I have the utmost respect for all those who served in that conflict.

Me too. The Great British Public are not qualified to take such decisions. We have an overblown elected parliament and we pay them to sort out these sort of things. They shouldn't go running back to mummy every time that they have to make a decision. We didn't have a referendum when we declare war in 1939.

It's another case of 'what if'. History is full of examples of small missed chances that might have changed everything. Unless you believe in predestination of course

That list cannot possibly be the result of unbiased judgements nor can it be comprehensive. They would have had to examine every decision made in every minute of every match. Give up, people. It's only a game.

Any new player that joins us takes time for us to develop into an effective contributor and we are not as effective as we could be whilst that process is taking place. You only have to look at the comments from Mané's early days (mine included) to see that he was possibly more of a handicap than a help to begin with. This is why the 'top clubs' (the ones with loadsamoney) tend to buy the finished articles straight out of the shop window, which is what we are.

It was to do with the FA geting some more money to help pay for the rebuilding. I don't like it either. The whole corporate seat business is part of the same plan. There may be more seats in the new stadium but 17.000 of these are not available to us 'ordinary' fans because they need the VIP punters to pay for it. The new stadium does have 2618 toilets though whereas the old one was just one big toilet.
