  1. That's what we need. Even then, this is a new team and it's asking a lot to have a watertight defence and a fluid attacking threat in the first couple of games.
  2. If so that will be some time yet and if we get to that stage we shall be deep in the doggy-dos by then. That is not something that I would wish for.
  3. A relegation scrap after three games?
  4. No, I can't agree with that. Round pegs, square holes.
  5. Never in doubt once they got their second. We're not tight enough defensively and toothless up front. Nevertheless we should be ok against any other than the top teams. We need a couple of quality players and time for them to bed in.
  6. Charlie Austin hat trick. Works for me
  7. His right foot catches the back of his left calf.
  8. Højbjerg looks bloody good.
  9. I'd call that a result:)
  10. Shaw's right leg was caught. Right under the referee's nose too. Clasie knew it and so did all the other players.
  11. That happens more to Targett than to others. Players tackle other players and win the ball, that happens too.
  12. Are you serious? He gets dummies inside and just waves his left leg at the ball as it goes past him on the outside. He fell for exactly the same move earlier in the game and Davis rescued him at a stretch.
  13. Good. He obviously doesn't want a transfer there
  14. Targett again! Don't just wave your little toe at him, take him out!!!
  15. Some of ours have brown stains on them
  16. That's anybody on this forum.
  17. Fair point, but that was exceptional. In general league results are related to spending but that includes wages as much as contract purchases and whether we would want to or are able to go down the route of excessive spending is debatable. FFP comes into play somewhere in this.
  18. You could sell £110m of players and buy one for £120m. That would be a net spend of £10 by the simplistic accounting method yet would still leave only one player in the squad.
  19. Er... Haven't you just demonstrated that net spend is not relevant?
  20. And we get paper towels at half time.
  21. Nobody knows what was in the minds of the voters. You yourself are not able to tell us what you personally want to see as the outcome despite repeated requests.
  22. To start with have you allowed for agents' and lawyers' fees?
  23. We throw away all our existing trade arrangements with the rest of the world as well when we leave the EU. We can continue to trade afterwards but it will be a lot more expensive and time-consuming. It's not all about tariffs either: http://cep.lse.ac.uk/pubs/download/pa016.pdf#page=3 As for our glorious Ministers for Brexit they literally don't have a clue as to how to proceed: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/brexit-will-be-delayed-until-end-of-2019-6kxb7sgrr “They don’t have the infrastructure for the people they need to hire. They say they don’t even know the right questions to ask when they finally begin bargaining with Europe.” Maybe they're too busy empire-building: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/brexit-bureaucracy-will-infuriate-out-voters-xcwcmrjwg http://cep.lse.ac.uk/pubs/download/pa016.pdf#page=3
  24. If you really believe that then I have some Nigerian bonds that you may be interested in.
