  1. There's no chance of reversing the decision now. If they did all the refs would hang up their boots.
  2. I've just noticed that your user name is Stickman. If only it had been Stickatitman.
  3. Have you tried reading a book called 'Sticking With it to the End'? Or did you start it but...
  4. Seems a bit convoluted: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play-calculation.html For red/yellow you start at 10 points per game and then lose them. Points are awarded for: Positive Play Respect to Opponents Respect to the Referee Behaviour of Team Officials Behaviour of the Public How West Ham get any points for Positive Play baffles me.
  5. Kevin Davies and Lee Holmes for Preston and Dan Harding for Forest on BT Sport at the moment in their fourth round replay. Good to see Kevin still putting it about.
  6. Always good to reminisce down memory lane... Whatever happened to 'buy me and stop one'? Shouldn't the Tesco one read 'Helps every little'?
  7. You're quite right about the final day. The top league places might all be settled by then, one of the teams might be in the Champions League final, all I'm bothered about is Saints beating Man Utd and denying them a top 4 spot. My preferences are: West Ham West Brom Fulham Sunderland Cardiff Ah, can I have five please?
  8. Do you think so?
  9. No referee will take any notice of the reaction of the aggrieved player. Carroll's wild swing of the arm was unnecessary and exaggerated and his intent was clear. As a referee you always have to be careful in assessing the physical state of the player who has been fouled, there's always a possibility that they are genuinely injured.
  10. Isn't there some condition that the 'fine' has to be commensurate with the cost/damage that they have incurred?
  11. A mate eh? I've not been the same since my heart operation, I blame the tablets. I'm on beta-blockers and ACE inhibitors. The beta-blockers are to stop me getting excited and the others are to keep my blood vessels dilated. If you, or your mate, are concerned then what's wrong with a trip to the doctor? There is one test to give an indication of whether it's physical or psychological. Most men get an erection in the early morning. If you take a strip of stamps (don't have to be first class:)) and wrap them around the base of the object in question and lightly gum them together then if you have had an 'event' during the night the perforations will have been torn. Good luck
  12. Indeed. All that foreign aid and we can't even protect our own countryside.
  13. Done, hope all goes well. Coventry are a proper club.
  14. Yeah, right She would say that, wouldn't she. It's a standard comment when someone has been persuaded to fall on their sword, in return for a big pay-off of course.
  15. An interesting statistic from The Mail today: 3. Fulham might be bottom of the table but they are working hard to get out of it – the EA Sports performance data showed only one team on Saturday collectively ran more miles than the 72.8 which Rene Meulensteen’s side covered. Trouble was that side was opponents Southampton who managed 74.7, with Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin sharing top spot with 7.7 miles each. 16. Didn't Kenwyne get a game or two?
  17. For some strange reason I read that as 'all the staff I was humping'. I really must wash my mind out with soap and water.
  18. Where exactly? All my family are from Enfield/Edmonton and my wife's were from Barnet.
  19. What's not to like?
  20. That depends on whether we paid the full amount up front.
  21. Too may stripes.
