I thought Dibling may have hit the ball against Young as the trajectory looked weird for Dibling having toed it past him.

Looks like a bit of a cart horse if I’m being totally honest. Hope he is just getting up to speed or we haven’t found the best way to use him yet.

I don’t think the players are good enough to play pure Russ ball like the manager does. However, he showed a willingness to tweak things last season whilst not a wholesale abandonment of the style and I think despite what he says he will do that again, so I’m not calling for his head quite yet.

We need a new keeper definitely. But overall we were competitive and played fairly well. Think a lot of you need to reset your expectations for the season gauging some of the laughable comments on here, or you’re going to end up pretty depressed. Even if we stay up we’re going to be losing a lot of games.
