Does XG consider how the goals happen? For example, for XG against if it’s one where we have given the ball away and provide the opposition an easy chance, which the keeper has no chance with, would it go down as a goal we shouldn’t have conceded even though the keeper can’t do much about it? Or is it just the ‘final’ chance/ shot that counts in terms of XGA/XG. I’m not sure if I’m being clear here but I know what I’m trying to ask 😂

See I don’t get this at all. I have a lot of concerns about Martin, but every press conference I have been impressed with what he’s saying. I think the fans were against him from the start and as such he is on a hiding to nothing. Unless we dominate every game and make no mistakes I think our fan base will be annoyed.
