I was thinking a similar thing and maybe the football authorities should be looking to include players PAYE and VAT on tickets and transfer dealings, in the footballing debt, which would mean for at least that part of the tax liability the club would be obliged to pay 100%.

Other countries take cheating in the sports arena very seriously, take Juventus (probably Italy's biggest team) relegation two divisions. Don't see why anyone thinks we shouldn't be promoted next season. We may lose one or two players, that's life! But we'll replace them with adequate others. We're only 13 points off the automatic promotion places now, despite starting on -10 and not winning a game for the first 2 months.

How do they intend to fund the season if they're still in Administration, with their parachute payments hived off by the FL to pay the football debt? Seems AA is struggling to get them to the end of this season and only because Chanrai has funded it.
