But what money are they going to have to continue? Once the season is over there is no income. Without an agreed CVA there will be no buyer and with no buyer, they will be liquidated.

A VT, Totton final would be interesting.

I might be wrong here but I thought the 10700 was a few seasons ago when they had the golf stand up. Now it's back to something like 9800.

They normally show 2 or 3 on the last day and as the Wednesday/Palace game has most riding on it it is certain to be shown.

It is very commendable that the fans are digging into their own pockets for this but doesn't that mean the perpetrators are getting away with it even more? There should be criminal proceedings to get the charities money back from Storrie, SAF and Al Mirage. After all you lot have already paid for it once (through shirt sales etc).

How good has Speroni been tonight. His goal has been under seige most of the game, especially since Danns was sent off.

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

I don't think there were many that didn't rate Oakley, Jones, Crouch or Beattie. You're surely not putting Gillett in their class? Fuller was sh!t for us but his knee was shot, he was a good player before and has been since. Delap and Higginbotham were decent players for us, although again Delap's injury held him back (he never lived up to his price tag, though). As for Best and Dyer, I'm glad they no longer have anything to do with our club. -
Nice position to be in though!

That's all I use it for TBH, although I do follow David Bumble Lloyd, his tweets are always good for a laugh!

He gets an absolute slating on the Carlisle Online forum.

Hopefully Hartlepool will be on a Saturday next season, if so will definitely be there!

I understand what you're saying but the players are no more liable for these debts than the fans are. The people who should be made accountable are the one who struck the deals in the first place and all of that money should be personally reimbursed by Storrie and his cronies. Not that that's going to happen BTW!!

Always used to love watching Gordon Greenidge hit the ball out of Dean Park.

Not the worst but one of them for sure!

Because anything over 30 miles I do not consider to be 'local'.

No Aldershot's not a derby, nor is Yeovil and never ever thought of them as being one (nor Reading, nor Brighton, nor Swindon).

It annoyed me that Dimi was in the ITV4 studio doing the punditory for the IPL final yesterday, rather than with the team in Durham. I know he's injured and I know, if he wasn't, he'd still have been in India but as club captain, I would have thought his commitment was with them.

IMO a it can not be a proper derby if the clubs are more than 30 miles away from each other. Bournemouth is inside that, so it qualifies a derby but that doesn't mean that there is much rivalry between the two clubs, in fact they've always been seen as the little cousin. Alternatively both Norwich, Ipswich and Swansea, Cardiff are not really derbies (under the 30 mile criteria) but they have intense rivalry between the town/cities and football supporters.

That's what I thought. Quite a few people bite and say they don't give a sh!t, thus getting the desired response. Just completely ignore them, that's the best way to show it, surely!

TBF, the votes are cast around February and Fonte's only signed in the Jan transfer window.

He is but presumably because he is under 24 we would have to negotiate compensation? -

Pards said that they were talking to Reading to see if a deal could be done but nothing is settled yet. He said he wants him to stay and that Reading have a few decent wide players and MA may not get a look in there.
