I concur with this. Was in the corporates on Boxing Day and could only hear the Exeter fans, which seeing I was sat only yards from ML and NC, is probably what sparked the debate in the first place.

I think they do but if you want to go with somebody (Mostly go with my brother) you cant order two over the phone, whereas we have linked customer numbers online.

What I don't get is why the online facility is not being used. By default, anyone able to order online has a customer number and a purchase history. It means that us supporters outside the area have to make a special trip down to the ground to get our tickets.

There is the bottle bar to the left (as you come in) of the stairway to block 36 and on the gate side of the concourse a large foodbar that is always shut. The club could build a divide that runs from that stairway to the foodbar. The bottle bar then becomes a proper beer bar.

They are empty at the moment but the club will be looking to aggressively market them for next season and seasons hence. If/when we return to the Premier League and the recession has ended, local and even national firms will be falling over themselves to hire the boxes once again. They will not however, be so keen if they overhang the away fans.

I agree. We are one of the few teams to have a proper "kop" and I think that contributes to the somewhat soulless atmosphere at St Mary's.

But it's another revenue stream. 10k or so, @ say £20 per head (up front) is not to be sniffed at and holders would have the priority over cup tickets etc. Plus the membership card could double as the stadium charge card.

TBF We're always on about how much better the atmosphere is at away games when we have been allocated a decent end and everybody gets involved in the singing. I'm all for it because I remember the good old days of the Milton, plus we might actually get people getting behind the team rather than spending the game bating the opposition fans.

A reintroduction of the membership scheme in in order IMO. I would also have not just linked the sale of the P*mpey tickets to a future game but firstly with a history of purchase (of perhaps 4 games so far) this season. Not fussed about where they move the away fans, although escorts to the opposite corner may cause problems.
