  1. The products will remain the same, like when Nestle took over Rowntree and MacIntosh. The only thing that will change will be the branding, although I wouldn't be surprised if they keep the Cadbury name for chocolate and Trebor for mints/sweets. Sad that another British institution disappears, none the less.
  2. Middle one is my guess.
  3. Me neither! I know they need the cash but £200k is peanuts for a proven goal scorer, even at this level! Must be BS!!
  4. Correct!
  5. Thought it was half hour of my life wasted TBH. I f'ing hate Jonathan Pearce!
  6. The report says he denies we have enquired about Stock. AP wouldn't know that the valuations were different if he (or the Club) hadn't asked the question.
  7. Milton Keynes are capable of beating us. They are not however capable of hammering us (IMO there is no team and I include Leeds in that, capable of hammering us in this Division). I reckon we'll draw on Wednesday and comfortably beat them at St Mary's.
  8. It's a snapshot preview of their impending report! It's not some twit just making things up. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/doncaster/8466149.stm
  9. This from the Solent Twitter feed: solentsport Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll tells BBC Solent he's had "no contact and no bid" from #Saintsfc for midfielder Brian Stock
  10. No, but they could bring in loans and free transfers and extend O'Hara's loan.
  11. How much went through the books?
  12. Good player 5 years ago. Not sure he would add anything to the team now though. For that reason I'm out!!
  13. Getting quite excited, awaiting the new RL season that kicks off on 29th of this month. Went to the KC Stadium today to watch Hull FC beat Hull KR 28-16 in Richard Horne's testimonial. Hull's new signings in Long, Fitzgibbon, O'Meley and Turner looked mightily impressive, we should have a decent season (well better than the 11th position managed last year). http://gamma.ecommzone.com/LZ/HULLFC/001C4J/0675f144c33c444beaccca8e5ea8929431/story1.htm Leeds and St Helens will obviously still be the teams to beat but Wakefield, Warrington and Huddersfield will have strong season's IMO.
  14. Never really rated him TBH and he was p!ss poor against the Skates in the week.
  15. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4855457.Pardew_makes_move_for_Stock/ Apologies if already posted.
  16. Should be to "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" La Lallana, La Lallana, Hey Hey Hey, La Lallana!
  17. Even so, they should be able to get basic stuff like this correct. They've got the same internet and twitter access the rest of us have and sure certain members of the editorial team will have Saints TV.
  18. Don't know. I'm still waiting for my Huddersfield tickets.
  19. Bart. Without a shadow of a doubt.
  20. I couldn't understand why they appointed him in the first place because it seemed to be the cheap option (for reportedly the richest club in the country). Haven given him the job, then surely you have to give him a decent crack at it. 5 games cannot surely be construed as a 'decent crack'. As for "resigned", that will be the party line (like the usual 'by mutual consent'). Basically it is STFU and you'll get a decent pay-off! As you said earlier the guy who made the appointment in the first place, is the one who should fall on his sword but of course, as we all know, that NEVER happens.
  21. Crouch appointed them.
  22. 1. There isn't one. 2. Yes he is!
  23. How many free tickets did they dish out?
  24. That's what we've done for just about every other player, since the Archers morphed into the Northam.
  25. I read somewhere at the weekend, they had a replacement lined up. 5 matches is a joke!
