If he needed to draw an income from a provisional football club, he wouldn't have taken us over in the first place. His income from MALI, his other investments, dividends from Leibherr and interest in his own personal bank account make the salary RL drew, seem like change for the charity box.

Yes but NC said it was out of this years budget. Everything in this years budget (apart from the excess gate receipts) is from NL's back pocket.

Nobody wants to see us overstretch ourselves but the spending budget was agreed when ML first took over. Because our matchday income is so much more than what was originally expected, it has allowed us to bring forward the Staplewood improvements and given us extra spending power in the transfer market. ML and NC did not get where they are by being frivolous with money. ML may be having a bit of fun with his personal fortune while he is still young enough to appreciate it but make no mistake, SFC is being run as a business and will be expected to at least break even after the 5 year plan has been achieved.

No, just journos putting 2 and 2 together and making 10. Newcastle want to sign Beckford, but if they can't do a deal, who will they go for? Well if they are looking at JB, arguable the bset striker in League 1, maybe they'll change their target to the 'next best' L1 striker?

On-line if you are paired with other 'customers' you can insert their customer number against the purchase.

Blimey, I wouldn't have thought Flybe was happy we are using Ryanair.

I don't think Thomas as done much wrong either but I don't think he is part of AP's long-term plans and having him on the wage bill gives us less flexibility in bringing other players in IMO.

Will O'Driscoll's impending departure to Burnley complicate this in any way?
-
Yes but he is costing us peanuts in relation to the other 2. I agree Pulis, Forecast, Molyneaux and others need to be moved on but those 3 together are probably only costing us as much as Thomas.

I don't feel sorry for them at all. The old guy in the pub said he wouldn't change the FA Cup win for anything. Therefore fully supported the spending on that team that got them in the sh!t they are in now.
-
Would have thought the ones on the biggest amount of money, but adding no or little value (Saganowski and Thomas) would be the priority.
-
I think it was 25,000 because, although the Monks Brook site was pretty sizeable, much of it would have been taken up by the auxiliary developments and the massive car park that the planners insisted on (something like one space for every 4 or 5 fans). Certain developments like the cinema and bowling alley had been agreed but when extra retail outlets were added the planners threw it out.

Doesn't exactly sit comfortably with their argument yesterday that 20k average crowds aren't good enough.
-
He said 2 plus likely to take a punt on another. He did say that he doubted he would bring in any more unless he could off load some of the other fringe players.
-
I'm pretty sure Thomas is being moved on and Trotman as already gone back to Preston. Perry and Jaidi can only play a certain amount of games (and if we are to make the Play-offs and progress in the JPT and FA Cup, we've still got sh!t loads to play). 4 proper centre backs (and I don't include Lancashire or Martin yet in that) is a necessity for us to go all the way.

Not there now! Get "No player found!"

Check if he's facebooked his mates, that should tell us.

Yes but it goes to Millwall and Charlton fans as well. I expect they'll buy it for a laugh!

Oh, that's why it was deleted! I wondered why.

3 1/2 year deal. -
A bit foolish to comment on "a social networking site" in the first place, I would have thought.

Obviously not League 1 (at the moment) but I read that Peterborough had done the same.

Maybe he's waiting until after the World Cup for Capello?

Quicker than the OS! (As another piece of tumbleweed drifts across their "latest news" page).
