  1. I think it's a pretty decent system and use it all the time. The improvement I would like to see is a Block by Block seat map, which shows seats available in real time, to make the seating choice more flexible. Otherwise it's fine (which is more than could be said about the rest of the web-site).
  2. Even though these's no undersoil heating, I wouldn't have thought the pitch would be too much of a problem because it has been covered and insulated from the worst of the frost. Any postponement would be down to safety reasons, surrounding streets etc IMO.
  3. Difference is, I laughed at the statue but when he was unveiled I felt like crying.

    Mush

I used to think so (supposedly derived from the Polish refugee camps) but not true. I travel all over the country and lived in Surrey, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire and have heard it in general conversation in all these places.

    Mush

Different contexts for different situations. Like you, I think if a stranger calls you "mush", it would be a bit of an insult, whereas if somebody you know well does, it's a term of endearment. I think it comes from the fact it's slang for "mouth". If a stranger called you mouth, you would be entitled to get a bit upset.
  6. Also, when the Milk Marketing Board sponsored the League Cup, the reps used to lob cartons of milk into the crowd. Needless o say they got lobbed back at 3 times the velocity.
  7. Yes, so was I and Brazil never mentions it....................MUCH!!!
  8. If we're going back to the Dell days, the hapless member of Hampshire Constabulary trying to arrest the "armed criminal" from the RAF Dog Display team.
  9. Can't claim it I'm afraid, nowt to do with me. It's "Adam Snowalla", taken off the "New Signing Confirmed" thread on the main board and the OS/Twitter snowman comp.
  10. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5837689,00.html Mmmm!!!
  11. This is what you're up against!
  12. Paying the wages won't lift the embargo. Only paying their footballing debts and proving to the PL/FA that they can pay for future payments and transfers will.
  13. Boom Boom!! They'd be very good up front.
  14. Said on SSN that the players have still not been paid.
  15. It was British owned from 1989 to 2001 Grand Metropolitan/Diagio but very much started in the States and American owned once again.
  16. Well there's your first!!
  17. Wouldn't be surprised to see a merged world championships to be based at Lakeside TBH.
  18. Bank closed because of snow!
  19. I agree about the Rasiak, Jones partnership being first choice but if he had been fighting just those two for a place, he would have stayed. The management however, preferred Best and saw McGoldrick as the "next best thing". Then they signed BWP. Blackstock saw the writing on the wall (plus the chance to establish himself in the first team at QPR) so he understandably left.
  20. Yeah but there's scrap and there's s[crap]!!
  21. After seeing the snow on the A3 around Petersfield, he'll still be digging his way out of his bookshop, probably.
  22. Only because Burley was using him as a bit part player and seemed to prefer the awful Best. If he was picked more often, he would have stayed IMO.
  23. £92.6 Million equal to Man Utd and Chelsea's put together. Surely this can't be a good thing for football. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5834013,00.html
