I think originally we tried to match up on their diamond formation, which for the first 20/25 minutes worked a treat. Trouble is they are more adept at playing it and managed to take control, after they scored their equalizer. In the second half, we played 3 or 4 different formations trying to get back into the game. I think if we had started 4-5-1, with 5 across the middle (like we finished the game with the 3-5-2) we would have had much more of the ball and made more chances.

Just goes to show what a sham the "fit and proper person" search is, if people with business records like his are permitted to get involved in football. What a joke!!!

If that is the case, we won't sign him, simple as that. If we do end up signing him, he will have been watched several times and properly scouted and in the opinion of AP and the management, adds something to the team, or strengthens the squad. I think you're getting this regime mixed up with the old one.

It's still prudent spending, as opposed to reckless spending, which I think many would think Man City are doing.
