That IMO is where the problem lies. Had the Echo gone along with the text the PA released (like the BBC and Sky) there wouldn't have been an issue. Because they lifted other information, including the artists impressions, from the planning document, they overstepped the mark, hence NC throwing his toys out the pram.

I'd take Giles on crutches above Holmes on crutches (his normal state since we signed him) any day.
-
That's a good reason to go to footy in my book!
-
Certainly Williamson, Smith and Boateng. They still owe Chelsea money on Glenn Johnson as well and he's already been sold on.
-
A much better player than Holmes, with a lot more pace.
-
That being the case the Echo have only got themselves to blame.
-
Confirmed today that he has been forced to retire. Shame, very good player IMO.

I wonder if it was more about publishing part of the document (and pictures) itself, than just breaking the story? The club had obviously spent a deal of time and money, putting together the presentation and model for the PC and therefore, I guess, the pictures (although in the public domain) were copyright of the club and designers until permissions to publish was given.

There's a blow for defender Graeme Murty who has injured his ankle in a training session this week, and whilst x-rays show no fracture, significant ligament damage has occurred, meaning that he could be absent until the New Year.

It's the slippery slope towards Dibden Bay, don't ya know?

Leeds Away Ticket Info - full allocation taken

They were on a downward spiral then though! I'd imagine a close to sell-out, top of the table crowd will be somewhat different. -
Not denying that there should be more than 1 European team in some of the groups, my point was that it was a rigged draw and should have been straight Pot 1, Pot 2, Pot 3, Pot 4 draw, regardless of where the teams were from.

Dan Kerins posts on here so maybe he can take it up.
-
They'll easily sell them and get a second tranche of 2k.
-
Can we have a refund?
-
That's true but I don't think many of us knew that FIFA were going to rig the draw to that extent. What about 2 European teams in the same draw? Apparently that doesn't matter.

Munto Finance v Markus Liebherr (Notts County v Saints)
krissyboy31 replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I remember the "nothing good ever happens to Saints" attitude in the summer and was coming round to that way of thinking myself. Now however, I suggest that Herr Liebherr has well and truly blown that theory out of the water. -
On the subject of ex Saints' manager, I see that Luggy has been relieved of his duties at Plymouth. Mariner has taken over on a temporary basis and Sturrock is going to stay on in some capacity but NOT team manager.

Typo! Should read buffoon!!

The trouble is Frank, what is there actually there to invest in, a load of debts? The P*rtsmouth brand as a Premier League outfit? That's about all and that is looking increasingly unlikely to continue. Who actually owns what there? Gaydarmak the ground and surrounding property? Either of the fake sheiks? Apparently very little of their own money has gone ito the club, it's nearly all borrowed. This Chanrai geezer, who is apparently ploughing money in for no share ownership, so presumably more loans? IMO Administration is the only way they will ever get out of this mess because I can't see anybody coming in to completely wipe their debts, buy the property for the ground and training facilities and fund the rebuilding at both and then fund the playing squad transfers to halt their slide. I wonder whether Watford could start winding-up proceedings against them if they don't get the money owed?

Nice one David, Thanks for the info. -
Yes I saw that and thought it was utterly bizarre. Thought the oppo may have been one of his previous clubs, but obviously not!
-
I seem to remember a game v Luton at the Dell that was abandoned because of fog. I don't think we've been even close at St Mary's (although the Nigeria/Japan International was pretty waterlogged).

I can think of a few ways of spelling his name and none of them are as above!!
