AP said the whole squad is going to be needed over the Christmas period. We've got a few close to suspension and we're bound to pick up a knock or two. I think any player on 4 bookings will be rested for Norwich because Leeds is more imported.

Yes but they have got Bagpuss in charge!

Who is your player of the season so far?
krissyboy31 replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Harding started really well and then had a dip in his form. I think however, he's played well in the last few games and interchanged with Lallana really well on Saturday. That said, I would go for Lallana, followed by Lambert for PoS to date. Much closer than last season though. KD already had it sewn up by now. -
That's what I was thinking. Luton will easily bring a couple of thousand and they are quite capable of turning Rotherham over tomorrow evening.

Depends what you're comparing them against. When we first moved there they were state of the art and several upgrades have helped (the Dome is superb and is not being touched). However, most Premier League clubs (some obvious exceptions) and some Championship teams, plus Norwich City in L1, currently have better facilities than us. We will never compete with Manyoo's, Arsenal's and Chelsea's facilities but hopefully this redevelopment will get us up there with the best of the rest.

I think it already is, even without the redevelopment.

Got 20 in the League, 5 in the League Cup and 5 in the FA Cup. I make that 30.
-
Wait a few weeks and the Kingsland (or blocks 33-36) will be open.
-
Can't really see there being any objection because it is on the current building footprint and hidden from neighbouring properties.
-
They're building it in the close season, so hopefully we'll not have them in L1.
-
Falling out over the Christmas Party? Is he planning to bring them down to the Dolphin, like he did Everton a few years ago?

I sort of see what he means though! To get in the play-offs (6th position) we have to win 10 points more than the 7th place team at the end of the season, therefore need an extra point every 4.6 games. To be on course, at the midway point we need to be 5 points behind the current 6th place team. 2 months ago, I wouldn't have given us any chance of that but on current form, we won't be too far off come 5 pm Boxing Day.
-
I think it changed to members only when it got close to full.
-
Hreidarsson did one when he wasn't. Skate wonker!!
-
I noticed that but I think it's because it's seen as open season now. No punishment, no bans, no fines, not even a booking in most cases. Unless there is a clampdown, this will get worse and worse.
-
LM was a different era. If that happened now, he more than likely would have been sacked after his first season. If not, he most certainly would have been poached between winning the cup and finishing runners up.

Portsmouth fail to pay their players again...

I heard it was more popular than match-day down there.
