Di Canio is completely the wrong kind of manager for Saints, especially if the rumours about NC controlling the team are to be believed. Also, he's not that good a manager, he has had a very high budget compared to other sides in L1 and L2. The best comparison to him is Paul Ince at the MK Dons.

West Byfleet and Pyrford are very high on the list, only a couple of miles from us now and certainly a nice area. Price and a lack of properties is our only issue here from what I can see.

We are looking in that area, Guildford is nearish to where we currently live. Budget is a little stretched that way though looking at places like Shalford, Effingham etc. Lovely area though!

Actually keeping it, happily. Got the obligatory Volvo estate though.

Since the birth of our first child four weeks ago, we've decided that we need to move from our Maisonette in Weybridge as we will soon outgrow it. The thought was to move to a 3 bed house in Weybridge, but the price of the area is just a bit too much. I was wondering if anyone had any tips of where to move in the Surrey, Berkshire, Middlesex area. We would like quite a villagey town, no more than 45 minutes into central London, within 30 minutes of Chertsey (for the missus work). I guess we're a bit precious about the area - we like quite posh places... We would like: Period Property Off Street Parking 3 bedrooms (min) Garage Spend no more than £450k We seem to be able to fulfil all our requirements but one for nearly all areas (looking at places like Ascot, Englefield Green, Walton on Thames, Sunbury on Thames, Cobham), which is frustrating, but I thought I'd give this a go before we have to make a compromise. Also, does anyone have any tips on good and bad areas in Ascot, Windsor and Old Windsor, as these 3 seem to fit the bill best at the moment. Any tips will be gratefully received!!

Amazing how a select few of us recognised this from early on in the Summer, but we were derided for being unrealistic and impatient. I doubt we'll get apologies though.

Now obviously I don't mean in relation to Nigel, but the start to the season with us playing good football, some narrow defeats against good teams (Birmingham), decent wins to give us hope (Derby) etc, but being horribly let down by the defence, time after time. Our youthful exuberance and confidence waned after a while. Will this happen and will we start playing really badly through all facets of the team?
