We just need a LB with a double-barrelled surname now to complete the set.

He's the club captain, but not necessarily the first team captain.
-
Someone called Dale Hotpot? Don't know about the painting though. Maybe he's coming from a tinpot club?
-
On the contrary. He'll flambé

I've told you once

He suggested an argument, not a game of Mornington Crescent.

I think last minute deals are often signed with the caveat that they are 'pending a medical exam'. I can't think of any that have subsequently fallen through, but I'm sure there have been a few over the years since the transfer window system was introduced.

And we could charge them an extortionate extra amount for the use of their dugouts

By all accounts he did well for PNE last season - 8 goals in 20 games - but he ain't coming. Been told by my man on the inside at Everton that he's going to Leicester.

Tom Cannon.
-
I've heard that this afternoon from an extremely reliable source.

Tom Cannon won't be coming. He's going to Leicester.

It's achilles tendon, not ACL.
-
Shame. I bet he can belt out a good rendition of Suspicious Minds at karaoke too.

Yet you support a man who literally provoked an armed insurrection because he didn't like the result of an election. And you accuse me of being 'blinked' (sic)?

WTF is wrong with you? I've told you multiple times I'm not a Biden supporter. When it comes to US politics I am completely neutral. I'm not American and I have no preference between Reps/Dems whatsoever. They are just two sides of the same coin as far as I'm concerned. Please share with us this video of Biden facing the committee you mentioned, so I can see for myself if what you say is true. And if it is then I will agree with you.

I went there about 15 years ago. Travelled around cos it's only a small country. Had a couple of nights in Ljubljana which is a lovely city, went up the the northern lakes (Bled, Bohinj) for a few days, then had a couple of nights in Piran on the coast near the border with Italy. Really fantastic place to visit. Much less touristy than Croatia.

In all seriousness @Turkish I can't recommend Croatia highly enough. Went with my wife and daughter for 10 days in 2018 and it was amazing. It's a beautiful part of the world and the natives are so friendly and welcoming. Of all the holidays I've had, it's the one place I would definitely go back to given the chance. Only down side is the limited range of beers available, but the two main local ones are decent enough.

Yeah and while you're at it could you give us an accurate weather report? Can't trust what they report on the news.

I tried long and hard to think of a joke about Emiliano Sala here, but eventually realised that no matter what I came up with, it would be crass and unfunny.

Lewis Dobbin. He's best mates with my nephew (who is on the bench tonight). They came through the academy together. Watched him a few times and he's a decent young player. Definitely gonna get opportunities this season, given the state of their squad.

Probably quite a drive from Dubrovnik (assuming you'll have a hire car) but I highly recommend Krka national park, if you're a fan of walking trails and waterfalls. It's not as famous as Plitvice (which would be even further to drive) but it's equally as beautiful. Not far from there is a lovely little old coastal town called Sibenik, which I also recommend for a day excursion.
