Leicester player just went right through the back of Fernandes and Taylor gave nothing. Fucking disgraceful job he is doing today.

I'm looking at the team sheet, and I have no idea what kind of formation that's going to be. I could understand doubling up at LB against Arsenal, but Leicester? If Manning is the answer, what the fuck is the question? BBD not even on the bench I see.

Cardiff leading 10-man Plymouth 2-0 at half time, which leaves Pompey bottom of the table.

Yes. He had an effort in the away leg at WBA that took a deflection and although the keeper was already diving the other way, he somehow managed to save it with his foot. I do hope that isn't the closest he ever gets to scoring for us.

Completing my first ever 10k run this morning.

He won't though. His system is completely suicidal with the quality of squad we have, and he's said time and time again that he won't change his philosophy. If you know you have severe limitations then at least set your team up to be hard to beat and capable of scoring on the counter. Russ will never do that. There is pretty much zero chance he can "get it right".

Once is careless. Twice is questionable. But four times?

I get where GS is coming from here, because my thoughts were similar. In his younger days, the weaknesses he showed looked like the sort of things that could be coached out of him or just improve with time and experience, because he's always shown decent ability on the ball and CBs do tend to take longer to mature. So it wasn't unreasonable to assume that he might have developed into a really good player. But, as has been pointed out, he seems to have gone the opposite way and hasn't eliminated those shortcomings from his game at all.

So S2 ends and does so in a much more satisfactory way than S1 did. Everything about this season was bigger and better. Very impressive. Now looking forward to the imminent release of the second season of The Devil's Hour on Prime (18th October). S1 was excellent, with superb performances in the lead roles from Jessica Raine and Peter Capaldi.

Just watched the analysis on MOTD and it just highlights how naive our approach is in falling for the pressing traps other teams set for us time and time again. But the most alarming thing was that we are top of the table for goals conceded from errors and top of the table for times possession lost in our own half, and in both cases by a considerable margin against the next team. That in itself should be a sackable offence.

Shea Charles scored a 94th min winner for Wednesday at Coventry today.
-
Is that in a couple of weeks?
-
Well it wasn't the dry humping we all expected. And there were some positives I guess. But there were so many shortcomings as well, most of which can be attributed directly to poor management. Despite the small glimmers of hope, I saw nothing today to suggest that RM really has any idea how to get us winning games in this league.

There was one just now - in the 97th minute.
-
Yeah but he plays for Arsenal so it doesn't count.

Bournemouth equalise at Leicester.

It was.

Very poor from Downes to be dispossessed like that. Typical Saintsy goal to concede.
-
Well, we kinda knew that wasn't going to last didn't we 🤣
-
Oh. My. Word.

I wonder how long he'll be out for? 🤔
