  1. The indefinition of sanity?
  2. Even Ian Andrews managed a to make a few decent saves from time to time.
  3. It's almost as if none of our GK options were actually very good.
  4. Yes, we finished in the playoffs, because we conceded far too many goals for a team aiming for automatic promotion. And many of those goals were the direct result of GB being a very poor shot-stopper who seemingly can't save anything that isn't straight at him.
  5. He also played a major part in us conceding 63 goals that season - 20 more than the team in 3rd place. If we'd had a competent shot-stopper in goal, we may well have got automatic promotion.
  6. Don't think so. Tyler was in the same academy team at Everton as JB, so maybe that's where the confusion has arisen.
  7. Yep, he's 6 foot 5!
  8. Yep, that's him. He was really starting to impress when he got a bad hamstring injury.
  9. My nephew was on loan there this season until he got injured, and he's full of praise for Challinor. Not a bad shout, but he might well want to stay there if they get promoted and see how far he can take them though.
  10. And hiring Russell Martin after he somehow managed to beat them 3 times last season.
  11. Weren't we strongly linked with him in the summer?
  12. Interesting to see BBD playing right wing for Sheff Utd this evening (before being subbed). Is that a regular thing since he's been there?
  13. No. We might beat them, but I can't see where else we would get the required points from in the other 4 games (Fulham H, Man City A, Everton A, Arsenal H). Best we can possibly hope for now is 15 points I reckon.
  14. In which orifice?
  15. Right so we just need to avoid conceding another 15 goals between now and the end of the season to ensure we're not as bad as Derby. Who's confident we can do that?
  16. Well blow my bubbles. Didn't see that coming.
  17. Dibling has to hit the target there.
  18. Cameron Archer is "a different type of test" for WH's defenders. Hmmm.
  19. Yeah, what we really need to do is make some subs because that always makes us stronger.
  20. OK so we know AA is out of his depth at PL level, but in his last 3 full seasons in the Champ he's scored 70 goals. To write him off because of an unsuccessful loan spell where he has mostly been played out of position (he's not and never will be an effective lone striker) is pure folly. And if you're going to have a pop at him for playing a part in our downfall, then you also have to acknowledge that he played a huge part in us getting promoted last season.
  21. Not blaming, per se. But there have been some pretty disgraceful comments made towards him personally (cunt, stealing a living etc...). Some from posters who I would have thought would know better as well.
  22. When he came on in the playoff first leg at the Hawthorns, he immediately improved our attack with some pace and movement, and he came closest to scoring that day with a deflected shot that their keeper did well to save. Aside from that though, his contributions have been largely forgettable.
  23. I think he's suspended anyway.
